Hot Headed

As the Planets tried to forget what happened with X, they found themselves sitting on the Sun's roof. Watching the nearby cars and talking about life. It was pretty difficult but Venus quickly found something to talk about.

"Is it just me or has Jupiter been nicer to Saturn?" Venus said as he scrolled on his phone looking up to see them. "I don't know! Though they look pretty sweet together, don't they?" Mars happily said, looking down at his hands a bit zoned out. He then realized what Venus was talking about and whipped his head around fast. "What now?"

"What if they are together?" Earth thought as he messed around with a hair tie that was around his wrist, he stretched the band and let it hit his wrist. Moon quickly placed his hand on Earth's wrist shaking his head and giving him a pen to fidget with. Earth gave a nervous smile and thanked Moon.

"What are you guys doing over here?" Uranus said as he walked to them keeping his distance away from the edge not wanting to fall, Neptune following behind in his own little world. "We are looking at Jupiter helping Saturn, and we've realized they've been awfully kind to each other," Venus said, squinting at them.

"Mates, you know Jupiter and Saturn have been close friends for a while right?" Uranus shook his head. "What's going on?" Neptune said completely not paying attention. Uranus quickly turned and told him. Neptune just blankly stared until Uranus gave him something to do.

"Memory problems?" Mars asked.

"Yeah.." Uranus said gently rubbing the back of his neck. Uranus sat down next to them watching Jupiter and Saturn. "You guys realize this is borderline stalking right?" Moon said, usually he wouldn't be one to intrude on their conversation.

"We aren't stalking, we are just observing what they are doing." Mars corrected. "Stalking.." Moon murmured as he went back to staying behind Earth. Earth flicked the pen around in his hand watching Saturn pick up the plants and place them neatly into the flower bed.

"Maybe we should get off the roof?" Uranus said as he was nervous Neptune was going to dive into the grass below. "But I like the roof," Earth said, looking down. Mercury looked over at him. Moon nodded agreeing.

"I dont think it's a good idea to stay up here any longer." Moon gave a thumbs down for Mercury, hoping he would understand his gesture. Mercury nodded clearly understanding just waiting for the right moment to intervene.

"I got to go grab my sketch book I dropped too, Mate." Uranus looked down below. He wasn't really scared of heights but he was scared of hitting the ground that's for sure.

"I just like basking in the heat. It's becoming winter and I'd rather not deal with it." Venus looked up, closing his eyes as he basked within the light.

"Yup! Let's get down. Let's go ask Saturn and Jupiter what's up!" Mercury opened the window, easily slipping through it. Mars sighed looking at the window propping it open fully, putting one leg into the house as he bent under the ceiling to go inside.

"There you guys are!" Sun said, chuckling, his surface as unstable as ever. Mercury walked over to him dragging Mars behind him. Earth and Venus were casually talking while Uranus and Neptune were attempting to fit through the small window again. Moon was still outside staring down at the ground.

"We are going to go bother Saturn and Jupiter!" Mercury walked past him but was quickly stopped by Sun placing a hand on Mercury's shoulder. "I think you all should think wisely! Before you say something to them!"

Mercury's anxiety rose as he felt Sun's heat on his surface. "Yeah, we already know what we will do! Right.. Mercury–" Earth said, making a winding motion with his hand. Mercury nodded quickly. Sun let him go and walked to help Uranus and Neptune. "I hate how scary he is sometimes." Mercury shook his head running out the door.
