>>>WRATH UNLEASHED
..........................................................................................Gages Pov
"As I descended the stairs, the aroma of pancakes, bacon, and ham wafted up, enveloping me in a savory embrace that tantalized my taste buds and teased my senses. 'Mmm, yummy!' I exclaimed, my voice husky with anticipation, as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, my heart racing with excitement. Thane, standing at the sink, flashed a radiant smile that illuminated the room, his silver hair cascading down his back like a river of moonlight. 'Good morning, Gem!' he chimed, his voice like music, as he tossed his apron aside, revealing his chiseled features and piercing metallic eyes that gleamed like diamonds in the morning light.
' Hmm, I'm glad you like it', he said with a grin. 'Anyway, I'm going out, I'll be back to make dinner, so you keep out of trouble, okay?' 'Okay', I replied, between chomping down the food. 'Good'. And with that, he was out the door.
After devouring the meal, I tackled the dishes and minor chores, my movements mechanical, my mind still reeling from the sight of Thane, his silver hair, his piercing eyes, his chiseled features. But as I ventured into the hallway, my curiosity got the better of me, like a moth drawn to flame. I pushed open the door to Thane's room, and my breath caught at the sight of his elegant sanctuary, the sheets exuding his signature scent – a heady mix of rain and fire that seemed to ignite a fire within me.
My exploration continued, leading me to a mysterious door with a bold red doorknob that seemed to pulsate with an otherworldly energy. My heart raced like a runaway train as I turned it, revealing a space that made my blood run cold, my heart freeze, my soul shiver. A monstrous creature stood before me, its eyes blazing with fury, its presence seeming to fill the room, like a dark storm cloud. The air was thick with the stench of brimstone and smoke, and I could feel the heat of its breath on my skin. 'Gage!' it bellowed, its voice like thunder, shaking the foundations of my being.
And then, I saw it – the creature's eyes, gleaming with a fierce intensity that seemed familiar, yet unknown. My mind reeled in horror, struggling to reconcile the monster before me with the kind and gentle Thane I thought I knew. The beast's horns seemed to pierce the air, their sharp points gleaming with a deadly light. Its claws looked sharp enough to tear through steel, and its fangs seemed to be dripping with venom.
'Th...' I stuttered, my voice barely audible, as I took a step back, my heart racing with fear. And then, in a flash of insight, I knew. 'Thane?' I whispered, my voice barely audible, as my vision began to blur. Everything went dark, and I felt myself falling, falling, falling into a void of nothingness."

After what seemed like hours ,i woke up to meet Thanes eyes.
“What the heck! I thought that was the number one rule. How could you miss that?” Thane practically growled at me, looking as if he was about to rip him apart. His horns were slowly retreating, and blood began to splatter over him. Gage thought it looked awfully painful. He wanted to touch his face but mentally stopped himself.
"I-I didn't know that was the room. I didn't know," i stammered.
"What the hell? You didn't know?" Thane's eyes seemed to glow more intensely. His once soft metallic eyes were now pure black, devoid of any white. He looked demonic, the symbols in his room revealing his true nature, not to mention the various crosses turned upside down.
"I may be mentally ill, but I am no fool."
"What—what are you?"I asked him.
"I'm wrath, I'm pain, and I'm a demon, Gage." His voice sounded like thunder. Gage couldn't help but shudder.
I was dragged out of my room, not carried, dragged. He threw me into the forbidden room, which appeared to be the sanctum.
"Kneel," he commanded. I complied immediately, but I couldn't understand. I didn't know! I swear if I did, I wouldn't have gone in there.
"What rule did you break?" Thane, now wrath, asked.
"I'm sorry." Tears started to spill from my eyes, and before I knew it, I was hit by a whip.
"Ahhh!" I cried out in horror and pain. I could feel blood dripping down my back.
"What rule did you break?" Thane—no, Wrath—repeated, his tone devoid of all emotion.
"I—I broke rule number one and five," I said between sobs.
"And what were those rules? State the rules you broke."
"I didn't know. I forgot. Please, I—Ahhhhhh!" I began to cry loudly, tears spilling from my eyes.
"No one enters the sanctum, and you must respect each other’s privacy."
"Good boy. Do you know what your punishment is?" Thane, now Wrath, said calmly.
"No, no sir," I managed to say through sobs.
"You're going to stay here for as long as I can think of, okay?"
"Please, I'm sorry, please…" My begging only earned me two more strokes across my back. My shirt was ripped, my body felt so hot, and I was in pain.
He vanished and left me there. It was dark, too dark. The room seemed to change its appearance, and I remembered. I saw everyone who had once treated me like dirt, all holding whips. I didn’t understand what was happening; it was mentally overwhelming. I should have taken the drugs. I was screaming, each stroke more painful than the last. At some point, I couldn't scream or cry. I just let them strip me bare, piece by piece.
I remembered when they’d put a hot iron rod on my skin, beating me to death, but I didn’t die. I remembered when they’d raped me at age eight, each thrust painful, my anus bleeding uncontrollably. I couldn’t breathe. The knives they dug under my skin, I was a shipment for cocaine. They put the bag inside me, then cut it out without anesthesia. I would scream and beg, but to no avail. I remembered my uncle, the way he'd fry my brain if I told a lie. The way he’d beat me, sometimes I’d wake up after a week.
I couldn’t think of anything else. Thane, was he like them? I didn’t know. I said I was sorry. I didn’t think the punishments were this hard. I said I was sorry. I said sorry.
