Rick stood over Tony's body. A single hole in his chest and head. I understand now, why people like Rick are so desensitized to shooting people. It's necessary. Not exactly convenient, but necessary. Me Hershel and Glenn came up behind and to she sides of Rick."Holy shit..." Glenn sighed.
"You alright?" Rick asked me, slightly turning his head to my direction.
"Mhm."
I mumbled. I wasn't scared, sad or annoyed anymore. I just felt-empty. I can't distinguish the feeling, I just didn't care. It was like It was normal. Probably cause it was. we shouldn't have ever trusted those rednecks. They got what they deserved.
"Hershel?"
It was quiet. So damn quiet. All I could hear was the hum of crickets and the men's breathing. We all looked around at each other, our eyes speaking for us. Rick was high on adrenaline from shooting two men in the span of a second, Hershel was full of disappointment it seemed, and Glenn, I don't know about Glenn.
"Let's head back." Hershel finally spoke.
Rick and Glenn nodded, Glenn taking my hand and taking me with him to the door. Rick grabbed Tony's gun, patting him down to check for anything of value he might have. Rick dug in Tony's pocket, pulling out ammo for his gun. Rick put the ammo in his shirt pocket.
Glenn was behind the bar, I stood infront of the bar, waiting for Glenn. He reached down to grab Dave's Glock, sighing as he did so. I caught up to Rick, following him and Hershel to the door. The familiar sound of car wheels wooshing past the bar alerted Rick.
"Car, car! Get down."
He whispered, hunching down and picking up his pace. I followed Glenn, sitting down next to the doors. My heart thumped in my ears, alerting me of my anxiety or rush of adrenaline. Rick looked over us, I huddled near Glenn, squeezing into a spot. It hurt my lungs, but it worked . I was out of sight.Glenn's breathing was loud and scary. I wanted to shush him, but he was scared and so was I. I bit my quivering lip from the inside, listening intently on what was happening outside of the bar. Rick's hands grasped his gun tightly.
"Dave? Tony?"
"They said over here?"
"Yeah."
"I'm telling you man I heard shots."
"I saw roamers two streets over might be more heading around here."
"It's hot, we gotta get outta here."
"Dave?! Tony?!"
"Shut up you idiot! You wanna attract em? Stick close and we'll find em.."
Us three listened to the three men, talking about what to do. I looked to Glenn. He looked really stressed. It was like the world stood still. Quiet. A game of hide and seek that would become deadly with one wrong movement.

Back at the Greene family house, Carls POV.
Andreas feet clicked against the floorboards, everyone entering the dining room as I set aside the napkins Maggie told me to set up.
"They should've been back by now."
I pour a glass to he brim of water, for anyone who wants it. I know Andrea is referring to My dad, Glenn and Hershel. I sat down in my seat, listening to them talk.
"Yeah, they just got holed up somewhere.. Well- We'll head out first thing in the morning."
Andrea passes some food, Shane thanks her. Everyone in the house seems so sad and dim. August runs up to the table, pulling back a chair and sitting down next to me. My eyes go to Carol as she hands Andrea a small basket of breads.
