It's early. Too early to be stabbing workers through chain linked fences. But, if we want a safe and sustainable place to live, you learn to suck it up and deal with it. Hershel unlinks the fence for Rick, Daryl, Maggie, Glenn and T-dog.

"I'm too tired for this.." I mumbled to August.

"To bad."

I gave August a look and leaned in closer to him.

"I will not hesitate to smack you right here right now."

"I'd like to see you try."

I raised my free hand but before I could smack the ever living shit out of my brother, Lori and Beth started to shout like maniacs for the walkers to come closer to the fence. I pursed my lips and made a frown.

"You're just lucky."

"And you're just a wimp." August retorted.

Oh my lord- when I get my hands on the boy, it's over. No more August and Genesis, just Genesis. Lori and Beth's barbaric screams encourage me to start yelling as well, trying to get the walkers attention.

It's like dangling a carrot infront a rabbit, hoping it'll take the bait. And usually, in our case, they do. They take the bait like it's candy to a kid. A walker comes up to the fence and I stab it in the skull with my dagger, and it falls to the floor.

I swear, all my clothes are blood stained now. It's annoying, but I have to get used to it. Another one comes up between me and August.

"Got it." I mumbled.

Lunging forward my dagger plunged into the soft and squishy part of the walkers brain, and as its final groan rumbled from its chest, it fell to the ground atop the others.

Rick and his mini group had gone to clear the frontage of the prison, but there was a little to many workers from what I can tell. When we cleared all the walkers closer to the fence, I went to Carols side, and so did August.

I got a little rowdy, and I turned to August, giving him a fake snarl.

"Rawh!" I groaned, sticking out my tongue.

"Quit!" August laughed, pushing me aside.

I stumbled a little as Carol and Lori interlinked their fingers with the fence.

"See em?"

"Back there? Nope."

The two women mumbled. In my peripheral vision I can see Carl turn to me for a moment, but when I turn my head to talk to him he turns back away.
I bit my cheek again. I've got to stop doing that.

We watch as Rick, T-dog, Glenn Maggie and Daryl come up, a little close to where we were, talked and conspired a little then went away again to clear the inside parts I guess.

"Seriously?" I huffed under my breath.

"Get used to it." August told me.

"What do you think?"

"Home sweet home, for the time being."

I held me and Augusts bags in my arms and on my back as the rest of the group entered the prison, one by one everyone finding a spot for each other.

The prison had a stench, a horrible rotten stench. One of spoiled milk and straight up shit. Disgusting. Foul. I mean, there was tens, if not hundreds of dead or alive walkers everywhere.

Hell, t-dog was dragging one at this very moment. Poor T-dog.

"It's secure?" Carol asked.

"This cell block is." Rick answered.
