REMEMBER THAT SAAD IS DRUNK.
"Mujhe ghar de gali de shahar de
Usi ke naam ke
Kadam yeh chalein ya rukein
Ab usi ke waaste
Dil mujhe de agar dard de uska par
Uski ho wo hansi goonje jo mere ghar"The continuous ringing of my cell phone wakes me up from my slumber. I groan, placing the pillow in my ears to avoid the loud ringtone. After some time gladly it stops, I sigh and try to sleep again and when the sleep starts consuming me , the phone rings again.
I struggle to open my eyes but open them anyway and pick up the call with my sleepy eyes. "Hello?" I murmur in my sleepy voice. My eyes snap open as I hear a very panicked voice of my best friend, Elena. "Sarah, Is Saad with you?" She asks in a worried tone.
"No, why?" I ask, getting up.
"It's almost 3:30 am and he's still not home. Aunt Nadia is very concerned because he's not in his penthouse too." She explains.
I frown and look at my whole room to process what she just told me. Then when it finally comes to me I open my mouth to speak, "Maybe he's with his friends?"
"No he's not, Axel, Vain, Ace, kaden, everyone is looking for him and even I am out with Daniel looking for him."
I close my eyes, letting out a sigh.
What is he trying to do now?
"He's not with me, Lena." I murmur.
"Oh—" she starts speaking but then someone interrupts her, "Sarah, try to call him. He will pick up your call." Daniel's voice reaches my ears and my heart rate instantly increases.
"Um I- uh okay."
I shut my eyes tightly as I finish my sentence. God why do I always stutter in front of him?
"Yes and do let me know if he picks up." Elena says and the line goes dead.
Removing the phone from my ear, I started searching for Saad's number. Once it catches my eye, I call him and put the phone on speaker.
