YOUR NAME

"Do you think this is the right time to get drunk?" My head moved to see who was talking beside me. It's not the person I was expecting to show up. "What is it to you?" I questioned this man, who has white hair with something red in it.

"Well, I've been summoned this early just to watch over a lady who has her time getting drunk and is not worried about anything. Are you even really a divine visionary?" Damn. This man is getting on my nerves, and what did he say? Watch over me; I thought it was Orter. Isn't that the reason why I was assigned as his assistant by the old man. He has the nerve to pass me on to someone else, that idiot.

"Can you please shut up? I'm busy breathing." I told him, irritated and that amuse him. I ignored every word that came out of his mouth, feeling so annoyed by everything.

I was about to drink the last sake I had when he snatched it and threw it away. I scoffed in disbelief at his actions, which instantly changed when he started grabbing me out of the bar, which I opposed. Just who the hell is this man? Orter couldn't even lay a damn hand on me, yet he pulled me forcefully.

I continued to struggle until a hand pulled me away from this person who just appeared in front of me. "Don't you see that she's struggling, Kaldo?" His low voice spoke behind me as he still had his hold on my arm. So they know each other.

"I see that, Orter, but could you hand the woman over so we could start retrieving what she needs to retrieve?" This Kaldo demanded as my eyes settled on a sword that was on his left side.

"You wield a sword?" My mouth opened unconsciously, which made him look at me. I forcefully pulled my arm away from Orter, who got surprised by my exploit. "Show me." I demanded, which made him look astonished at my change of attitude.

He's hesitant to follow until he withdrew it, and black flames engulfed the blade instantly. An aching sensation within me is welling my core up after seeing how enchanting the sword was. My desire to touch the blade was forbidden by Kaldo as he sheathed back his sword, which made me glare intensely at him.

"If you're that excited to hold a sword, then why not find yours?" He uttered it directly; his eyes settled on mine as he returned to look at the person behind me. "Hey, Orter. Explain to her what's going on; she seems confused." His voice was tinted with sarcasm as he made himself disappear into the shadows.

I turned around to face Orter, who immediately composed himself, having his fingers fix his glasses. I crossed my arms and darted him a questioning gaze. "Were you hurt?" He questioned me, which I ignored.

"Who's that guy who dragged me all the way here?" I questioned, avoiding the irritation in my voice to be exhibited but I failed. His eyes went to my wrist and to me. "Don't you feel bad about your arm, it's all-red."He then asked again, about which I don't really care.
