My head is practically writhing from pain as I wake up and find myself laying on a cold floor, and a familiar cloak is blanketing me from the cold. A sound of cracking wood coming from the firewood is audible as it provides warmth.
"Where I am?" I murmured, questioning myself from the confusion. Despite the aching of my whole body to which I didn't bother to feel, I forced myself to get up and to be greeted by two men who were just silently glaring at each other.
"The princess is awake." My eyes turn to meet Hazuri. Wounds and bruises completely covered his face and some on his arms. My eyes moved to Orter, who had the same. How long was I asleep?
"What happened!?" I questioned. Panic overwhelmed me as I tried to stand on my feet, which betrays me quickly. Damn it. Both of them are silent, as they only watch me struggle, causing me to glare at them.
"Where are the kids? Where's James?" I inquired, who answered with a quick gesture, and saw the kids on the other side of the hallway, sleeping peacefully. My gaze softened, and an unknown smile found my lips as I breathed softly, knowing that they're safe.
"Stop staring at my sister, pervert." My attention went to Hazuri, who's glaring at Orter, who just sighed and turned his back at me. "And why are you referring to me as your sister?" I inquired him; seriousness laced my voice as I didn't remove my gaze at him.
"Cause you are my sister." He answered jokingly, trying to avoid my irritated glares at him. "You wipe away my memories, bastard. How will I believe every word coming out of your mouth?" I mouthed every word with anger as he only defeatedly sighed and finally met my eyes.
"Because it's the last resort I could do, and I don't regret it." He answered. Pain was visible in his eyes as he brushed it off and looked away. "Tell me, who's that man?" I questioned again. I need to know; I have the very right to know what the hell is going on.
