"All good; we're signed in," Leo said, bouncing up to you, breaking you out of your reminiscing. "We can go and explore now."

Nodding, you turned back to look at Mei, who was holding the door open for a family of three. "Alright," you said, turning back around to face your red-haired friend.

"Oh! Kesha has the pamphlets," he added.

Nodding, you looked past Leo in an attempt to find Kanesha. When you couldn't spot their tall friend in the small crowd that had gathered in the lobby, you frowned glancing at Leo slightly confused. Mei joined the two of you to hear the next part of the conversation.

"Are we not staying as a group?" You questioned, raising an eyebrow.

The man just shook his head, "Kesha has some specific pieces she wants to nerd over a bit for her class, 'n she said not to feel guilty for not joining her. After that, then..." he trailed off, before pushing a few strands of red hair that were tickling his nose, back out of his face; muttering about how he wants to try dyeing his hair dark green.

"Should we say... an hour?" Mei murmured with a swift look at her watch, even quieter than her usual soft tone. Understandable, really, since this was an indoor-voice-only area, it would be rude to disturb any other visitors to the gallery. "Then we can meet back up and explore together, maybe...?"

"Sounds like a sound plan," Leo agreed, nodding his head.

You felt yourself giving a minuscule nod as well. A small part of you was relieved that you were going off by yourself for a small bit. Another smaller, and much more selfish, part of you didn't want to leave the group.

"I'll go and meet Kylie then... She's on this floor somewhere, right?" Mei glanced up at Leo who just shrugged his shoulders; still focused on fixing his hair. Vaguely, he looked around, still preoccupied with his red locks, and wandered off upstairs, leaving you and Mei in the lobby.
