It was in the early afternoon, under a dust-grey coloured sky; filled with fluffy clouds of all greying shades, like an artist's pencil set. You, a university student – studying English Literature and Creative Writing – along with the company of three of your friends, and flat-mates, were all visiting an art gallery showcase:

The Amazing World of Guertena.

You, looked at the two extroverts at the front desk, still slightly annoyed from being bought out against your will. By far, Leo and Kanesha were the most outgoing of the group of four; organising all of the outings that you all did as a group.

Kanesha had wild and untameable curly dark brown hair and eyes, pairing nicely with her russet brown skin, which always seemed to be perfectly clear, despite her claims of not even having a proper skin-care routine. She was tall, standing at almost five foot ten, and walked with an air of confidence, like a queen.

Kanesha was a spontaneous-things-only-lover; the partygoer of the group, enjoying spending most of her weekend (and any other free time) out in whatever party that was being held, usually dragging her friends with her.

She studied fine art at the university, and this whole excursion was her idea to begin with; she was focusing on abstract art in her course and had used Weiss Guertena as one of her bigger inspirations in her own work. Kanesha had practically jumped at the opportunity when she heard about the expedition.

Leo, who was currently chatting with the lady at the front desk, was similar to Kanesha in more ways than one. He was short – almost humorously so, standing at just below five foot five – and was one of the more popular students in the university. He studied theatre, (the specific title you had forgotten), excelling particularly well in musical theatre and, overall, just playing into his own natural eccentrics.

The self-proclaimed - and very honoured to have the title - 'theatre brat' had dyed bright-red hair (previously an electric blue), and was only ever seen in its unruly state. Leo said the red looked better with his grey eyes – it made them stand out more, apparently.
