Taurus after seeing aries leave for a place across the vast ocean decided he would also go somewhere far but didn't want to go somewhere so far that it would go over the ocean after all he just wanted a place where he could continue doing as he pleased, helping out when needed and being a little here and there, Taurus was very laid back after all even if he was also stubborn making the other zodiacs often call him a mull instead of a bull, so Taurus went to Spain.

When he got to Spain he was surprised by how everything and soon began to explore after a few years of helping around however a man well known in the town he now resided in approached him with a deal, "how about you come work for me? You have lived here for a long time always just helping randomly for small prices how about coming to work for me and finally having a stable in come?" The man asked Taurus, Taurus smiled at him confused by where such an offer came from "uhm- apologies sir...I do not think that I can help you much..." Taurus answered the man, the man looked up at Taurus, "well my men can teach you plenty! If your strong then that will be enough to help out around the ranch!" The man answered Taurus, Taurus looked down at the man thinking for a bit, after a few minutes he finally nodded willing to give it a try after all he wasn't that afraid of trying new things just because he liked his usual routine, the man had then taken Taurus to a big ranch filled with cattle sheep and pigs and some chickens as they mostly handled livestock leaving Taurus amazed, "Capricorn would love it here..." Taurus muttered as he glanced around, "what was that boy?" The man asked "n-nothing sir!" Taurus stuttered trying to be respectful but was finding it hard since he didn't always interact with those standing at a higher position then him, the man then introduced Taurus to the other farm hands one of which was a guy who Taurus had helped before, the guys carriage that was being used in transferring cow feed had gotten stuck on the rode after a wheel broke and Taurus had picked up both the guy and the carriage with just his bare hands and had carried it to the location the guy was going to, thanks to this the guy had for many months asked his boss to hire Taurus after finding out what Taurus was up to deciding Taurus would be better off helping out in the ranch, after the boss left the farm hands began introducjng themselves leaving only Taurus to introduce himself "uh- well...everyone just calls my Taurus..?" Taurus said, "tauro? Ain't that sound like bull?" One of the farm hands laughed, "so you ain't have a proper name or something?" Another one of the farm hands said also laughing, "guess not! Ever since I was a kid everyone's just called me that!" Taurus chuckled, the same guy that Taurus had helped thought for a bit, "then..how about..Ruben? I knew a strong guy back home who went by that name! He was the best at farm work too! Everyone relied on him and all, so I think it will auit you just fine!" The guy said smiling at Ruben, Ruben smiled, "alright! I guess that doesn't half bad! I'll go by Ruben from now on then!" He said clearly happy about the new name, as the days went by Ruben found the work in the ranch as something fun and found it at times even relaxing even if it was sometimes hard because of the hot days that would come during the hot summers, however Ruben still enjoyed them as he had made friends with the humans in the town and ranch, the years turned from mere 5 years to decades and as his friends died one by one from old age or illness at just mere ages of 45 or 50, Ruben still looked 20... And that's when he realized, as the once baby daughter of his boss walked outside with her own teenage children, the signs of her already reaching her late thirties clear on her face as her dress moved in the wind of the early spring while Ruben watched them from afar and smiled sadly, "how couldn't I have noticed earlier...was it.. because I was with other people who live just as long as me...was that why...I sometimes stopped seeing those children or their mothers...why I would suddenly see them as grown ups...was it my own ignorance that didn't allow me to realize that...time..passes.." Ruben grit his teeth as he forced a bright smile onto his face and waved at the girl that he had seen grown up the same girl that he once used to escort to buy fruits because of her protective father, the girl that was now his boss, the girl that now had her own children, children that he too had now helped teach things all because of his immortality, as the teenagers waved at Ruben and ran off to do what they had to do the girl walked to also do what had to be done as she was the one who ran the the ranch now that her father had passed away since she was the only child, after they left Ruben walked away to do what needed to be done around the ranch but as soon as no one was around he collapsed on the ground and burst out in tears crying, "damn it...must I really watch them all..just fade away..." Ruben cried not knowing what it was he should do as now he had to face everything himself with no help or comfort knowing anyone who comforted him would just die in the end, after crying for a while he finally called down and continued his work before going to his spot under his favorite tree near the sheep coral, he looked at sheep and smiled, "Capricorn would have seriously loved it here..." He muttered remembering the first thing he said when he had entered the ranch all those years back, he then closed his eyes taking his usual nap he always took every afternoon after finishing his morning work, then we'll the bell ringed signalling lunch time he went and had lunch with the other farm hands who he had befriended just a few months after they had been hired, he smiled at them and chatted with them while they had their lunch before they all continued their work, Ruben helped some of them with some things usually things they weren't as experienced with or things that had to do with heavy lifting, after the day ended in dinner time they once again sat together to eat and chat before they all headed to bed, as the years passed and Ruben continued to watch the people he had befriended die from illness or old age Ruben had learned to not to forge an attachment, and because of that rubrn though friendly never actually considered anyone a real friend all so he wouldn't cry when they died, the years passed and when he realized humans began fearing and hunting non humans he disappeared from the town for a few years faking his supposed death so that he wouldn't be hunted before returning to the town right when everyone that once knew him had died, this time however he had learned to hide his bull horns and tail and so he appeared human, and so he once again went to the ranch where he once worked and got hired, he continued working there making sure to do his best at hiding the fact he was a non human and continued doing so for centuries until the year 2211 came the year where non humans showed themselves once again because of the portals, the non humans had no choice but to do so because they needed to defend themselves from the monsters appearing from the portals and only a few non humans knew why the portals had appeared and who had created this so called natural disaster, however those non humans that knew why wouldn't speak, and Ruben knew that Libra was one of those non humans that knew why the portals had appeared.

In the year 2224 Ruben who had now shown himself to be a non human and no longer disguised himself now sat under the tree he always sat under, said tree had grown to be massive in size but the family of his boss had a big liking to it because of the legends that surrounded it that involved Ruben helping them around the beginning of their family, however they didn't know Ruben was the mysterious non human who had many times helped their family by simply giving them knowledge he had learned from libra,Virgo and Capricorn, and Ruben wasn't going to say anything about that, after all he didn't want any attachments to life as he knew humans would die easily, and now Ruben just scrolled through his phone looking at what was happening in Spain wondering what new laws had been made for the non humans that had appeared since in recent years many laws were either, being changed, made, or adjusted for the existence of non humans who were the only beings that could close the portals by force, portals that would bring dangerous monsters into world, and they too were the only ones that could give humans the equipment and weapons needed to kill these monsters and the only ones who could kill the monsters barehanded, and so humanity needed to adjust, "seriously...why are they finding this so hard?" Ruben wondered as he saw how many people were against non humans living alongside them and were even asking for them to be exiled and banned from the country of Spain, Ruben rolled his eyes, "I better watch out then.... I could get attacked at any moment!" Ruben laughed as he continued scrolling before getting a notification he had a friend request from aveline_cancer64, making Ruben fell surprised as he looked into he account before realizing it was cancer, one of the people he used to live with, he smiled accepting the request, "doesn't he live in Paris? We should have the same time then..." Ruben said as he got up putting his phone away to go back to work, "well..I will text him after work.." Ruben said as he went back to work yawning as he stretched, "this should be fun..." Ruben said smiling cheerfully wondering why Aveline would suddenly text him.
