As Iwaizumi and Hinata went back to the others. Y/N saw them first and greeted them with a bright smile.

"Iwaizumi-kun! Shoyo!"

The other players look at their side.

"What took you guys so long? C'mon we are all starving"

All of them went to a restaurant to eat.

In the middle of their meal Hinata spoke.

"Right! Iwaizumi-kun let me stay in your house for the night tomorrow"

Iwaizumi looked at him and nodded

"Yeah sure, everyone can stay though"

After some chatting and eating. The group parted ways and bid their goodbyes.

[The Next Day: In Iwaizumi's house]

It was already late, and Iwaizumi seems to be bothered. A few have noticed it, but they didn't pay much attention as they thought that Iwaizumi is just drunk.

Almost every person in the house is mostly drunk and wasted.

Iwaizumi in the other hand keeps swearing at his best friend in his mind because he is still not here and one of the guests keeps flirting at her.

"Dumb shittykawa you really are gonna lose her if you're gonna keep this up"

As Iwaizumi is about to stop the guy who keeps clinging on Y/N, someone shouted that made the guy flinch

"Y/N!" the brown eyed guy eyed the man who keeps clinging to Y/N who looks really uncomfortable "You! Stop. Touching. Her" Oikawa said with a threatening voice. The guy immediately left Y/N alone.

Iwaizumi went to his best friend

"Shittykawa what took you so long? look! Y/N is already drunk. How are you gonna talk to her!? dumb shit"

"I didn't want to be late Iwa-chan. We had a practice, and they wouldn't let me leave"

Oikawa went to Y/N's side and gently tapped her cheek trying to wake her up.

But after a few taps and calling to her name. Oikawa only received a groan in response.

Oikawa sighed and looked around.

What a mess. Oikawa thought.

"Iwa-chan, you have a guest room, right?"

"Yeah, go upstairs the other guest room is still free. You can put her there"

Oikawa nodded and thanked his best friend.

He carefully guided her to the stairs which leads to the second floor where the other empty guest rooms are available.

Oikawa gently put Y/N to bed to make her more comfortable sleeping.

After putting her down Oikawa sat beside her and made himself comfortable by placing his back on the headboard.

"Y/N?" he called hoping that he'll receive a response.

After a few minutes of silence, Oikawa tried to touch Y/N's shoulder. He stopped mid-air as the painful scene came crashing his mind.

He suddenly remembered the awful things he did to you and the awful words he have said to you that day.

Tears came crawling up in his eyes as his guilt filled him over.

Oikawa was in the verge of breaking down when suddenly a pair of hands surrounded his left arm.

He looked at the person who was still asleep in his side.
