"Hey! We have to go now. Get a move on." "And what are you going to do to me brat? You're not going anywhere without me so get to wait!"

*thwack!*

A kick landed square on my head, causing me to recoil and hold the spot that was hit. "Calm down, Sanji, you still have days till your friends come, and we're going shopping this afternoon. Stop rushing."

"You say that old man but you don't know them as I do. They're idiots and monsters." I said retaliating

"oh yeah? How much do they eat in a sitting? Our stock is enough for a fleet so why are you insistent on more?" He said mostly to himself but loud enough for me to hear and respond.

"3 meals per day each with a week's worth. And it's each per person. When we're battle-locked for a day/s,  we eat double of the usual, and excluding that every day is like a feast, we can practically consume a month's worth of food in a week. This does not include  Nami, Robin, Chopper, and Ussop. They don't have a big appetite like the rest of us, but it's still more than average, I guess?"

I continued rambling on deep into it not noticing Zeff paling in colour. Sure he knows pirates eat more than the normal and thought doubles for devil fruit users, but that's absurd! what kind of people are they to archive that?

(A/n: This is all pure speculation from what is shown and may or may not be true. The only true thing is probably the fact Luffy can and does eat weeks' worth of meals a day)

At this point, we were both lost in our thoughts completely forgetting anything else and going into autopilot mode. The other workers started almost a year ago and some last week started with mixed feelings of awe, concern, neutrality, and others.

They all had concluded that we share a deeper bond than chefs -even the newest guy- after a day or two working, but to say they were used? no. The correct and only answer is no. Snapping out their trans they let us be and didn't disturb us—the last person who did get a foot to his chin.

"Also we need to pick someone up as well"

"What?"

I was sitting by the second-floor railing, enjoying the scenery, looking at everyone cleaning up or readying a ship. today was slow, so nothing interesting happened—much to most demise.

"Are you excited?" I turned to see Roger beside me looking at the sea. 'He looks more human now...' "You could say that," I answered, turning my head back to the sea. "There's something I've always wanted to know."

I hum silently asking him to continue. "What's his devil fruit...? Luffy's, I mean. I've noticed it's different from other paramecia types I've encountered...almost like..." ah, so it's that. "I see, it's no surprise that you want to know. He should have it back by now so why don't you ask him? It's not my place to say."

Memories of the time he told us how he got devil fruit came to me. After restless nagging from Chopper, Ussop, and Brook he finally recalled the day to us.  And just when we all thought Luffy's stupidity had already reached high peaks...
