Yo Han didn't really expect that he'd trust Ga On enough to tell him everything about the church fire and his brother, but seeing the younger man acting stupidly because he didn't know enough was seriously testing his patience.
That's why he decided to tell Ga On the truth, so that he'd simply know exactly what happened and stopped asking questions to the wrong people. After all, he knew Ga On was very suspicious about him and he was aware that the younger man has been gathering information on him to report back to Judge Min, for some reason.
But Yo Han didn't understand why that old man had something against him. Yet seeing as he was the one who recommended Ga On for the bench, he's pretty sure it's not a coincidence that Ga On ended up spying on him.
It seems like Min Jung Ho's plan is falling apart, apparently, because Kim Ga On doesn't seem to want to spy on him. To add to that, Kim Ga On is interested in him. That's definitely not something Min Jung Ho asked him to do.
Yo Han is pretty sure that Kim Ga On is a very loyal person. Stupid, sure, but loyal. Which is why he finds it very interesting seeing as the younger man is basically fighting with himself not to give in.
But he gives in.
He's the one who always takes the first serious step, Yo Han is never the first to initiate something, he never wants to overstep or force the younger man to do anything.
Ga On is the one who kisses him first basically every single time.
And Yo Han is very happy that he does so.
The thing is, he can see Kim Ga On fighting his morals and everything he believes in every time they are together. Because he's here to spy on him, to gather information, to apparently possibly do something that has the intention of hurting him.
But it doesn't look like Ga On wants to hurt him, no.
It seems like Ga On wants to get to know him, which is a nice change.
Nobody ever wants to just get to know him.
Nobody cares about that.
People like to assume things about him and just roll with it.
But not Kim Ga On, no.
He acts as if he wants to see him, reach deep into his soul.
And Yo Han is very scared about it, but he's also very intrigued and incredibly excited.
He can also see that the younger man although quite loyal, he's also very naïve and weak and he's easily manipulated. All of that is a problem that Yo Han thinks he should work on.
The thing is, he can teach him all that.
He could easily sway Kim Ga On to his side and teach him to be loyal to him, to never let his guard down, to think before acting, to get his shit together.
He actually finds himself wanting to do it.
He'd love to have Ga On on his side and his side only.
Because besides the fact that he finds him fun and interesting, he's incredibly attracted to Ga On and he can't remember the last time he felt so many sparks during doing a thing as simple as kissing.
He's pretty sure he's never been this excited about kissing anybody, ever.
But he also finds all of this very scary, because having those kinds of feelings for Ga On is a dangerous thing, because he seems like a wild card. Yo Han may like him, but he knows the younger man is a liability as long as he's on Judge Min's side. Which is why even though he trusts him until Ga On proves he isn't worth it, he's still a bit reluctant about the whole thing and he doesn't want them to dive into this too soon.

FanfictionSet during the show with missing/extended scenes. Basically my take on TDJ if they were interested in each other from the start.
