Me and Ruby were sitting in the car waiting for Scrim to come out of the store, "I feel like a kid waiting for my dad" I said and Ruby chuckled.

I laid back in my seat, putting my feet up in the middle compartment. "You ready to go back to New Orleans?" Scrim asked when he got in the car. "Please tell me you gotta snack" I said and he handed me the bag. "you got the Munchies?" He asked and I shook my head no, "I want a line so I'm hungry" i said.

He chuckled, "Take what you want" he said and I took a bag of chips and a Gatorade. "Now you know good and dang well that's Ruby's" he said to me as he started the car.

"You can share" I said to Ruby, "I don't wanna taste your spit" he said and I chuckled, "You'll be fine" I said and he rolled his eyes.

I cracked open the Gatorade, taking a sip before scrim pulled off. I closed the lid handind it to Ruby.

I opened the bag of chips, "Gimme one" Scrim said. "stop being hungry" I said handing him a few chips.

"If you sharing with him then.." Ruby said "No, you didn't even wanna share your Gatorade" I said and he mugged me.

Soon, we were going down the highway back to new Orleans. "I'm gonna miss Pouya and Nick" I said and Ruby looked at me thru the rear view mirror.

"Put on your seatbelt" he told me, "Why?" I said and he turned and looked at me. "Because" he said and I sighed putting on my seatbelt leaning on the mirror.

"Can you hand me a soda kid" Scrim said and I handed one to Ruby to hand to him.

Ruby handed him the drink, Scrim cracked it and took a sip before setting it in the cup holder.

I sighed exaggerating, "What's wrong?" Scrim asked "I'm boreddd" I said, "We haven't even been in the car for an hour kid.." he said.

"But I'm bored Scottyy" he said, "Play your phone" He said and I sighed. "It's dead" I told him.

After awhile, I stopped complaining and fell asleep.

Until the car stopped, I woke up and We were at the gas station. Ruby was pumping gas and Scrim was in the passengers seat, I woke up with shivers.

"its cold" I told Scrim, "You want me to turn on the heat princess?" He asked and I nodded. I sat up, rubbing my eyes and unbuckling my seat belt.

"you hungry?" He asked, I nodded. He handed me a McDonald's bag with my favorites in it. "Thank you"I said and "No problem princess" he said i heard Ruby hang up the gas pump, opening the car door and getting in. Starting up the car and pulling off.

I ate some of my food, setting my bag in the floor of the car. "I'm so ready to be home" I said, "Me too kid, me too" Scrim said. Ruby had been quiet most of the time.

"Ari, you okay?" I asked, "Huh? Yeah I'm cool" Ruby told us. I looked at Scrim and he was already looking at me, "Aristos.." Scrim said, "I'm okay Scott" he told Scrim, Scrim k new better then to push because it would make Ruby upset.

"if you say so" Scrim said softly.

The drive went by fast, we were in New Orleans fast as hell it seemed like.

The boys decided to stay the night at my place because they didn't feel like doing all the extra bull..

I had a three bedroom house, a room for the boys. It was just like that because well they were always with me. They were like my brothers..
