Humming with delight, Alicent was so excited for her wedding, it is going to be happening by the end of the week.

Everything is already set to her liken, except for Rheanyra who has chosen to ignore her like a disease. Geralt doesn't seem to care despite how to tried to reason with her, she still acts outraged and bitter towards them.

The aurburn haired hummed, striding through the hallways to go check the new chambers she'd soon be moving into. Geralt had allow her choose the colors, the furniture, the decorations, the paintings, the tapestry, everything to her taste, but she made sure to involve him in everything, even using some if his advice and and they both fell into a compromise and chose a more larger room very fancy, and luxurious, comfortable for a husband and wife and a cradle for a baby in the future.

Exhilarated, Alicent took a turn and headed straight down, almost nearing the quarters when she crossed paths with Rheanyra.

The air was hot and her smile fell off her face like a leave in autumn.

Faltered in her footsteps, Alicent sighs and continues walking down but could feel the burning stare of the Princess. Rheanyra knowingly shot her a glare of resentment.

Alicent couldn't help it but speak to her. "Rheanyra." She called.

It was day break, the birds chirped, indistinct chatter crowded the Red Keep, and outside in the courtyard, they both could hear the water, pouring down the fountain in the atrium pools.

The white haired halts in her footsteps and turns with an egoistic glare. "It's Princess Rheanyra..... Lady Hightower." she reminds her.

Alicent breathes shakily. "We can't keep carry on like this, it's unhealthy. Especially now that we're family. I expected you to have accepted our fates."

"Nothing is perfectly fine for me, I'm not sure, it is for you though, my former friend who leached off me and pimped herself to my father, then seduced my brother." She hissed.

Alicent stomach twitched. "What? No, I never leeched on you nor pimped myself. No never......you're my best friend, I'd never hurt you." Alicent reaches out and held Rheanyra's hands.

"I care about you so much, We're adults. We shouldn't be rivals." She pleads. "and this complicated issue between us shouldn't tear us apart."

Rheanyra's eyes watered. "It already did Lady Alicent. You moment you came into my life and ruined it."

"No Rheanyra, that's not true. I've been a loyal friend to you. Just as you are to me. We're more like sister." Alicent held her hands tightly soft. "We're like the same blood, inseparable, please try and my understand my sincere feelings and let's continue being friends."

"Alright then, if you value our friendship. Call of your weeding with Geralt." Rheanyra demanded sternly. "Don't marry him."

Taken aback, Alicent gaps, widened her eyes. "Wh-what?"

"You want to prove your loyalty to me? Then don't marry my brother, set him free. For me." Rheanyra held her gaze.

Blinking and petrified. Alicent let's go of her hands. "My wedding is by the end of the week and you want me to cancel it?" She took two steps backwards.

"If you hold me in highest regard as your friend, you'd never want to hurt me. Would you?"

Alicent just stared at her speechless... then replies. "No. I cannot call off my wedding." She says breezily.
