(Sooha's POV)
After five minutes, four of us occupied the couches in Felix's living room, munching on the fishcakes.
"What! You don't remember us?" The squirrel boy, whose name I just found out to be Jisung, screeches and I winch at how loud he is.
"I can't believe this!" Hyunjin put his hand on his chest, gasping with his eyes wide open in disbelief. "After all the years of our blossoming friendship, after all the beautiful endevours, you do this to us! How could you!"
Felix rolls his eyes at the both, looking tired. While I look from one to the other, who have a different betrayed looks on their faces, confused. Though I did nothing wrong, they made me feel like I ought to feel guilty.
"Um..sorry?" I ask, unsure.
But now that I think of it, the chubby cheeks do look somewhat familiar. I think I have seen them before, somewhere. I narrow my brows, focusing on my memory as I stare at Jisung who is munching on the fishcakes like a real squirrel.
"Wait!" I widen my eyes and point at him, instantly getting the attention of the three boys. "You're the boy who stole my bracelet!"
I remember, when Felix and I were kids, we used to be friends with some other kids in the elementary school.
"You finally remembered!" Jisung lights up, jumping over to come hug me. But a grip on the back of his hoodie stops him, making him yelp, as the freckled blond yanks him back on the couch beside him.
"Hey! What's that for!" Jisung turns to the other with a frown, who just ignores him. I flick my gaze towards him and then back to Jisung. Him being so quiet is unlike himself. I wonder what happend.
"Me? What about me?" The tall guy points to himself, pouting a bit. I narrow my eyes at him, studying his features.
"I don't think I knew you.." I trail off, racking my memory. "Though I think I knew a girl that is somewhat similiar to you. Do you have a sister?"
"THAT WAS ME! HOW COULD YOU ASSUME I WAS A GIRL! GOD! I HAVE NEVER FEEL SO HURT!" He stands up, eyes wide and mouth gaping, showing that he is truly offended.
"Oh. It was really you." I blink, no doubt his dramaticness feels a bit too familiar. Jisung is cackling with laughter on the other side. I swear I saw Felix chuckling as well, though it was gone in a spilt second.
"Sorry." I mumble, but loud enough for them to hear. "You were so preety so I always thought you were a girl."
"Oh why! Thankyou!" He smiles shyly, blushing deeply, his previous outburst all forgotten. "I have never feel so flattered."
"What about me? I was hot right?" Jisung quickly shifts his seat to the one beside me, before squatting closer.
"No, you were cute." I chuckle. I am not lying. He was really a cute kid with chubby squirrel cheeks and big sparkly eyes. But a troublesome one though.
"But I wanna be hot!" He whines loudly, before puffing out his cheeks.
I chuckle again. I do not know what comes over me as I reach out and pinch his cheeks, earning a surprised yelp from the boy. I pause, suddenly coming back to my sense.
The next second, before I can even think of an excuse for my actions, a hand suddenly yanks my hand away from the boy's cheeks.
