(Sooha's POV)
The alarm ticks off, pulling me out from my peaceful slumber. I groan and toss around before reaching out to shut the annoying thing. Time to start another day. I sit up and groan again. I know I'm being lazy but I can't help wishing that everyday would be just weekends.
I groggily walk to the small attached bathroom to get ready for the day before heading downstairs and to the kitchen. My nose instantly detects the mouthwatering smell of pancake. My favourite. I grin from ear to ear, my mood being already uplifted.
"Good morning grandpa." I hug the old man reading newspaper and give a kiss on his cheek.
"Good morning dear." He smiles while putting down his paper on the dining table.
"Did you sleep well?"
"I don't think I get enough sleep." I groan and peer on the newspaper for any exciting news. Politics and blah blah, all boring stuffs.
"Same as usual." He laughs. "Then I'm guessing you sleep well."
"You know me so well grandpa." I giggle.
"Breakfast is ready." Grandma announces as she brings a plate full of pancakes to the table.
"Pankcakes!" I immediately jump to grab one. But Grandma swats my hands away.
"First get to your seat young lady." She says sternly. I pout as I walk to my seat and grandpa chuckles.
I live with my grandparents in a small countryside. My parents and brother are in the city. But I love it here. I love the sweet fresh air, I love the vast geen meadows, I love the animals in grandpa's farm and most importantly, I love my grandparents.
"Eat up dear. I'll drive you to school today. I have to go to the town." Grandpa says.
"Okay." I beam excitedly and start eating my breakfast. Grandpa driving me to school is one of my favourite thing.
"Eat slowly. You'll choke like that." Grandma frowns, passing me the glass containing sweetened green tea. I down it in three big gulps and race upstairs to my room. Grandma just shakes her head and grandpa chuckles fondly.
I take a quick shower and change into my school uniform before happily skipping downstairs. I see grandpa already inside his old truck. It makes me smile from ear to ear.
"Grandma I'm going!" I shout before skiping towards the blue truck and getting inside the passenger's seat.
"I'm ready! Let's go!"
Grandpa chuckles at my excitement and slowly pulls out of the driveway and to the small street in front. As we begin driving, I notice people moving furnitures in and out from the empty house near ours.
"Grandpa are the Lee's back?" I whip my face to grandpa, wide eyed.
"Yeah." He nods. "They came last night."
"Hmph! Why do they come back now!" I grumble, annoyed.
"Don't be rude. Aren't you happy to see your freind?"
"We're not friends! And no! I'm not at all happy to see him." I frown, crossing my arms.
Grandpa laughs. "Just don't be rude."
