Waited For You

Chapter 10

AUTHOR's POV :-

Advik and Nihanshi took 7 rounds of holy fire and then after sindoor and mangalsutra were announced as husband and wife by the priest. They entered into the new chapter of their life with full faith and love for each other. It was evening when the wedding rituals got over and soon after that the bride and groom went for their photoshoot session.

During the wedding rituals both Atharv and Sanchi were busy in some work or another but Atharv left no chance to glance at Sanchi. It felt as if it would have been in his hands he would have stopped the universe to admire Sanchi. Sanchi on the other hand was really confused by Atharv's behaviour. She wanted to suggest some psychiatrist's number to Atharv but dropped this idea realising she had to tolerate him just for one day.

Unexpectedly one of the female guest happen to be Atharv's friend who came and their first gesture was to hug together. Atharv was looking very happy while interacting with his friend. They didn't even realise that they had been talking since last 40 minutes. Before bidding him goodbye she again hugged Atharv which he reciprocated without any guilt.
The scene was witnessed by Sanchi.

SANCHI's POV:-

She is that same girl. You are still the same Mr. Atharv Prasad. You are still the same who wears his innocent mask infront of everyone to hide his cunning features and nature. You just know how to use others for your own good and profit. It was all my mistake to trust you before because you carry your facade personality with utmost perfection and I was the fool.

AUTHOR's POV :-

Advik and Nihanshi returned from their photoshoot session and settled on the huge dinning table with close friends and relatives to have their meal. The meal was nothing but a perfect blend of peace with teasings and jokes. Everyone has to leave the palace the same day at 9 pm as per the plans. Till 8 pm just the close relatives and friends were left.

Atharv was desperately searching for someone by almost barging into all the rooms of the palace. He left no corner of the palace unsearched yet could not find that person. Fear crept in his heart, fear for her , fear of losing his Angel. He was standing like a statue with the support of a pillar imagining his old memories with her. They were the best as they had her in them. Just then a hand tapped on his shoulder forcing him to turn towards that direction only to find his bhabhi standing there. He wasted not a single second and hugged her saying " I missed you bhabhi."
Vaidehi understood that something is bothering his devar (brother-in-law). She said "Everything will be fine Atharv. Have faith in God. Everything happens for some reason."
Atharv released a relaxing breath and asked "How did you knew that I needed these words of yours. How come you understand me, bhai and Avu so perfectly bhabhi?"
Vaidehi chuckled on his words and said "You three are my world Atharv and my everything revolves around you people that's why. Now cheer up, splash some water on your face otherwise you know your brother very well he will not leave you until you tell him the reason of your stress."

Atharv departed from there towards his room.

ATHARV's POV:-

I reached my room to do things directed by bhabhi.
I won't let the past repeat. I won't be able to handle again that same feeling. I can't. I can wait for you till eternity but not more I just need you now, I want us now and I will make sure that it happens as soon as possible. I have no strength left to live alone and act all strong. I need you to embrace me, to tell me that I am important to you, to cool my nervous and overthinking heart. But what if she does not want the same thing? What if she had nothing which I had for her? What if she denied everything which we had? This feeling itself is enough to shake me internally. I released a weak chuckle on my condition and the best part is I don't even know the complete reason for it. Why everything between us turned so unreal ?

I wish you were here to clear everything, to be with me if you too wished the same. You know in place of you your bracelet listens my everything now. It holds the same power as you ofcourse as it belongs to you, your favourite bracelet. I had to secretly steal it from you because there was not a single percent chance that you would give that to me willingly. Unknowingly a smile adorned my face. This is the impact you have on me. This is the power you hold over me. I can go hours with your thoughts but can never feel tired or guilty of doing that. My trance of thoughts were broken by the knock on the door. I opened the door to see bhabhi standing there. She informed that we have to leave in few minutes and I hummed and nodded in response. She lovingly patted my cheeks and I knew she is radiating her positive thoughts and energy towards me because I needed them.
