POV: Jaycee

8:30 AM - ROWLEY HOUSEHOLD

As Jaycee stumbled out of bed, still groggy from sleep, she checked her phone. There was a message from her cousin Mavis, upset that she had woken up late again. Knowing that Mavis hated waiting, Jaycee took a moment to snap a quick picture and share it on Twitter with the caption "jwu." Only then did she reply to her cousin.

She knew Mavis didn’t like waiting, so Jaycee had to get ready fast. With a deep sigh, she quickly brushed her hair and changed out of her pajamas. Grabbing her bag, she stumbled towards the door, still half-asleep.

When she made her way to the driveway, she saw Mavis tapping her foot impatiently. Mavis glared at Jaycee as she approached the car.

"Bakit ang tagal mo?" she snapped. "I've been waiting here for ages. Dapat nasa dance class ka na ngayon!"

"I know, I know. I overslept," Jaycee said.

Mavis rolled her eyes. "Oversleeping again? You really need to get your act together, Jaycee."

"Next time pag nangyari pa to," Mavis warned, her voice stern. "Hindi na kita hihintayin. Marami pa akong importanteng bagay na gagawin kaysa maghintay sa katamaran mong gumising ng maaga."

Jaycee felt stung by her cousin's words, knowing they came from concern.

As they drove to dance class, Mavis continued to lecture Jaycee, her irritation clear. "Kailangan mong matutong maging responsable, Jaycee," she said. "You can't keep sleeping in and being late to everything. It's not fair to the people waiting for you."

Jaycee nodded silently, feeling guilty and embarrassed. She knew Mavis was right, but waking up in the mornings was just so hard for her.

Mavis parked outside the dance studio and turned to Jaycee. "And another thing," she said firmly, "you need to start taking your dance lessons seriously. It's not just a hobby; it's a discipline. You have to put in the effort if you want to improve."

Jaycee sighed and nodded, feeling frustrated with herself. She knew Mavis was trying to help, but sometimes her tough love was hard to take.

9:00 AM - DANCE STUDIO

As Jaycee walked into the dance studio, she set her things down and began her usual routine of stretching and warming up. She noticed a stunning girl in the corner, her long, flowing hair swaying as she warmed up.

Jaycee tried to focus on her own warm-up, stretching her limbs as she leaned against a nearby wall for support. The warm-up routine was familiar, but her gaze kept drifting towards the beautiful girl.

One glance turned into another, and soon Jaycee couldn't help but admire her beauty. The girl's aura was captivating, drawing Jaycee's attention effortlessly.

Who was she? The question lingered in her mind as the music played, the bass booming throughout the room.

The girl began to dance, moving with a grace that took Jaycee's breath away. She seemed to float as she leapt and spun across the floor, her movements perfectly in sync with the music.

Jaycee was mesmerized. She had never seen anyone dance like this before. She couldn't take her eyes off the girl, even when she noticed other dancers around her whispering and pointing in her direction.

When the music ended, the girl looked around the room, panting slightly from the exertion. Her eyes landed on Jaycee, who quickly looked away, feeling caught.
