You were in a very irritable mood. You and Nat had been arguing ever since she came home. Nat had to put the kids to bed early because she didn't want them to their Mom's arguing.

Nat was getting frustrated. She was tired from her mission and all she wanted to do was cuddle with her wife but you didn't want to seem to do that right now.

Nat walked back into the kitchen to see you cleaning. "The kids are in bed." She mumbled. Tension was thick. Nat sensed there was more to it than just the arguing, but she couldn't wrap her head around what it could be. "Okay." You replied bluntly. You stared at her for a moment. Your cramps were really bad right now, Nat noticed the shiny gloss in your eyes. "It hurts, Nat." You whimpered. Then it clicked to her. You were on your period. Hence your bad mood. "Oh baby, why didn't you just say before. C'mon. Let's get you into a nice warm bath."

The bath did help a little, but it didn't ease the pain for long. You whined as you twisted and turned in bed. "What can I do to help?" Nat frowned. She hated seeing you in so much pain. She didn't really know what to do to help with periods, being that she's never had one. "I don't know." You fussed. It had been 2 days since your period began, it should start to settle down now, but it hasn't. "I'll give you some more painkillers. One minute." Nat rushed to the kitchen and grabbed the pain killers and then decided to call your sister Wanda to ask for advice.

Nat; Hey Wands.

Wanda; Hey. Everything okay? You don't normally call past 9.

Nat; No, not really. Y/N's on her period, and it's really bad. She's in a lot of pain and I've already given her a bath, tea, a heat pad and pain killers and I'm about to give her more pain killers but is there anything else I can do? I feel like I'm not doing enough to help her, but I don't know what else to do.

Wanda;
Hon, take a deep breath, okay? You're doing your best for Y/N/N, and that's all that matters. There's not much more you can do about the pain, unfortunately, but when Y/N/N was younger, she used to love when I rubbed her forehead to help her fall asleep. Maybe try rubbing her stomach gently to see if that brings her any comfort?

Nat; Yeah, okay, thanks, Wanda.

Wanda; No problem. If that doesn't work and she's still in pain after the painkillers, text me, and I can come over and try help, okay?

Nat; Okay. Thanks. I'll text you later with updates.

Wanda; Okay. Bye.

After Nat gave you the painkillers, she wanted to try what Wanda had said. "Hey baby, is it okay if you lay back towards me? I wanna try something to help." You nodded, and with a small groan, you pushed yourself up closer to her.

Nat lifted up your shirt, revealing the heating pad you had on max heat laying on it. "Can I take this off for a minute?" You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion but still nodded. Nat took it off and rested her hand on your lower stomach, she put a little pressure on it as she made soothing patterns around it. A sigh of content left you. "That feels good." You whispered. "Yeah?" , "Yeah."

Nat kept doing this motion for quite a while as you binge watched Modern Family together. Nat was hoping you would drift off to sleep soon, but little to her knowledge, she would be getting very little sleep that night.

Later during the night, probably around 4am, you started twisting and turning again. Whines of annoyance escaping you. You just wanted to sleep peacefully, without this constant pain. You couldn't take it anymore. You had to wake up Nat. "Nat." You whispered and pushed her gently with your hand. "Nat." You repeated the same motions until Nat stirred awake. "What?" She grumbled, her voice raspy. "It really hurts again." You whimpered. Nat rubbed her eyes and turned on the light on to see the dried tear marks on your cheeks. "Oh detka." Nat wiped away your tears. "You should've woken me up sooner."

Nat was about to grab her phone to text Wanda to come over and help when you stopped her. "Don't text Wanda. Please." You didn't want Wanda's help. You wanted Nat and only Nat. "B-But detka-" Nat stammered. She was worried about you and didn't know how else to help you anymore. "Rub my belly again?" You gave her your iconic puppy eyes. She melted immediately. "Of course. Modern Family?" She asked as she grabbed for the remote. She knew the answer was going to be yes, but it was worth asking anyway. You nodded immediately, a little excitement reappearing in your eyes.

You loved Modern Family with your whole heart. Sometimes, Nat wondered if you loved that show more than her, but you reassured her that you loved her more than anything else in the world. Nat was your world. You didn't know what your life would be like without her. You did think about that sometimes. And the thought of Nat leaving you tore you apart. Nat reassured you that she was never leaving you. Not in a million years.

"Tashie?" You whisper, looking up at her.

"Yes, princess?"

"I love you."

Nat smiled softly.

"I love you too."

Nat kissed you and you smiled into the kiss. No matter the pain you were in, Natasha always made it better.
