5:48 a.m

Buck was just sleeping peacefully on his warm and comfy bed when just then he got randomly woken up by his text notification going off

“Dude, who the right mind will be willing to text me of all people at 5 in the fucking morning?” Buck complained as he grabbed his phone from the night stand next to his bed

Buck turned on his phone and quietly cursed under his breath because he nearly blinded himself with the brightness of the phone right in front of his face. Buck typed in his password, and quickly went to his message to see who had the audacity to wake him up at this unholy hour. He looked at the new message in bold and tried to make out the name, God it's way too early for his brain to comprehend and read correctly. When Buck was finally able to register the persons name his annoyance withered away and was quickly replaced with guilt because he cursed him out but overall happiness mixed with confusion as to why Eddie felt the need to text him this early in the morning. Buck knows Eddie, and he knows that Eddie would not wake up with early even if it was to save his life

“Oh.. It's just Eddie.” Buck thought

“I guess it's fine then, it must be really important if he's texting me this early in the morning” He added

Eds:

Hey Buck!

I know it's early in the morning, and you're probably asleep at this hour, so sorry if I disturb you, but I just wanted to tell you something

I'm going to Texas in approximately 2-ish weeks and Christopher is wondering if you were able to come and tag along with us

It's fine if you can't, I just wanted to ask you first before I made things clear with Christopher

“Huh.. A trip to Texas with Eddie and Chris?” Buck pondered on the thought

“That seems fun, but I don't think I can go.. I hope Eddie and Chris won't get mad at me” He winced at the though of seeing the disappointed look on Eddie and Chris's face. A look that he was way to familiar with from his parents

Buck:

Hey Eds!

Its fine, you didn't wake me up

I was already awake anyways, haha

I really wish I could go,

but I already made plans

with Tommy to go out

on a date in 2 weeks

Sorry again! I hope Chris

won't be mad at me for

bailing out on him

Buck felt a pang of guilt in his stomach for sending the text, hopefully they'll both understand. He hates making Chris sad and Eddie disappointed

Eds;

Yeah no problem! I understand

I'm sure Chris knew you tried your best to tag along with us

He knows that you wouldn't purposely bail out on him

Sorry for bothering you, sleep well, Buck

Buck;

Thanks, sorry again

Tell Christopher that I'll

make it up to him soon!

Eds;

Will do, goodnight/morning Buck :)

Buck sighed as he shuts off and puts away his phone on top of the drawer nightstand table. He was currently re-thinking his decision of him supposedly "bailing out" on the trip, will Tommy mind if they rescheduled their date? I mean, they do go on dates every week so he's sure that Tommy will understand if they could cancel or reschedule their date night just this once, right? Buck groaned frustratedly as he ran his hands on his face

“It is way to early for me to be doubting my life choices right now” Buck commented groggily as he rested his left arm on top of his eyes

He tried his best to fall back asleep, but the sleep had already left his body a long time ago and was replaced with energy to keep himself awake for the remaining time of the day, so he reluctantly got out of his bed— not caring to even neatly make his bed —and went downstairs to make himself some coffee. He yawned a bit as he placed the instant coffee in the coffee maker and while he's at it, he grabbed some eggs from the fridge and made some Sunny Side up eggs along with some cinnamon toast. Since is was the only thing he was willing to make at such a deranging hour

After he finished making his coffee he went to go and sit down on his chair that sat next to his table island and started eating his breakfast. Once after he was satisfied with his meal he wanted to check the time so he went to grab his phone from his pocket before realising that he left it back on up his nightstand. He groaned as he walked up the stairs to go and retrieve his phone. Once his phone was in arm's reach he grabbed it and looked at the time and it read 6:27 a.m . His eyes went wide at the realisation

“Shit! It's already gonna be 6:30!? I'm so gonna be late for work now” Buck stated as he went running down the stairs and dashed out of his apartment complex, almost forgetting to lock his door in the process
