"A zoo?!" Kasha heard Panlo— exclaim as she groaned, pushing herself off the soft body that she fell on. If it was anyone else they would be embarrassed, but Kasha had done way worse with her friends, so she only shot the boy with the hat a flash smile and outstretched her hand.

"Thanks for cushioning my fall, buddy." The boy squinted at her, before tensly taking her hand and pulling himself up, it was obviouse that he didnt fully trust her. His guards still up, as he stood warily around her, but that didnt stop him from joking with her.

"Anytime, cant let a preety girl get hurt now can we." He winked.

"Aww, well dont you know how to flatter a girl." She smiled, before turning back towards Panlo "I'll see you around— not like you have much of a choice, were kinda stuck in the same twenty feet untill one of us dies."

Panlo rolled his eyes at her comment, his eyes glancing around the Monkey cage, disgust filling his face. "Unbelivavle." He muttered.

"Well you better start beliving it, becuase this is our home for the next...." Kasha pretended to look at her imagineey watch on her wrist, "rest of our lives?"

"Better get comfy then." He agreed, grabbing into her wrist and leading her into one of the farther corners of the cage, somewhat away from the prying eyes of the capital, but they could still see them, making Kasha tense with every move she made. She felt disgusted, like the capital was taking away what little humanity she had remaining, she was being treated like a animal being put to show, and she couldnt help but feel like a house pet.
Panlo rested against the rock, his legs outstretched as he turned away from a few capital kids who were trying to talk to him, maybe not being able to see them helped him pretend the werent there.

"Look at them! Mum come look!" A kid pointed, jumping up and down, while he let out little squeals of exitment. Kasha glared from her spot, relizing that the kid was pointing at her, and when his mother came closer, grabbing onto the kids hand she let out a scoff and turned away, "mummy why is it doing that? I thought they were supposed to be entertaining. I wanna see a trick."

"Hey!" The mother called out towards her, making both Panlo and Kasha glance behind them at the woman, "yes you!" She pointed at them, her finger scruitnizing them, "My son wants to see a trick, can't you make yourself usefull?"

Kasha ignored them, her eyes locking onto one of the far rocks on the other side of the cage, trying to tune out the ragged Woman who was throwing tuants at them.

"Come on you district scum! Juggle or something!" The mother sneered at them, by now all the tributes were looking at the woman, their eyes glancing towards her and the two district nine tributes. Kasha looked like she was about to blow a fume, and they wondered if she was going to snap at the woman and say something, but she kept quite, her eyes still scanning untill they locked onto something. "Dirty little rats—" the woman continued.

Kasha's jaw clenched as she looked at the boy with the hat, he was looking back at her, though every now and then his eyes would flicker behind her at the raging woman, as if he found it amusing, but he didnt. He found the tuanting to be growing restless, and irritating. Panlo drilled his finger on his thigh, his eyes shut as he focused on anything but what was going on behind him. He wanted to pretend the woman wasnt there, but it was hard with her constant screaming.

"Im about to shove a rock down her goddamn throat." Kasha muttered, earning a displeased look from Panlo.

"I honestly wouldnt be complaing." Panlo flinched as he felt something bounce off his back, it was a small rock, that the lady at thrown at them, and Panlo imediatly stopped Kasha from getting up, "Ignore it, these peacekeepers will be on you before you can even get near her."

Kasha huffed settling back into her seat, anger fumed off her in small little waves, but she ignored it, just like Panlo told her, and began picking at the grass that had small little buttercups growing in them.
