The Portal

Blitzø tapped his foot impatiently, his tail twitching in annoyance as he stared at the swirling vortex before him. The portal had a hypnotic quality, its shifting colors and ethereal patterns beckoning yet foreboding. Blitzø, a bombastic and audacious imp with a flair for theatrics, had seen many bizarre sights in his time as the head of I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals), but this was something new. He cracked his knuckles, a wicked grin spreading across his face.

"Alright, Moxxie, Millie, get your asses over here!" Blitzø's voice echoed through the dimly lit office. "We're about to make history!"

Moxxie, a serious and often exasperated imp with a penchant for overthinking, poked his head around the corner. "Blitzø, are you sure about this? That portal looks...unstable."

Blitzø fucked around and kinda opened a portal because he was curious about the grimoire (The Book Stolas Gave Him).

"Oh, come on, Moxxie!" Millie, the wife of Moxxie, walked into the room, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "When has Blitzø ever led us astray?"

Moxxie sighed, adjusting his tie. "Do you really want an answer to that?"

Blitzø rolled his eyes dramatically. "Look, we've taken on worse jobs. This portal is not fucking closing so lets go in it, all i know is this this place is all about dogs..."

Millie clapped her hands together. "Aww, I love dogs! This is gonna be fun!"

"Focus, people!" Blitzø snapped, his tail flicking. "We've got a job to do, and we're gonna do it with style. Now, let's get moving."

"Wait...what job?!" Moxxie exclaimed.

Without another word, Blitzø stepped into the portal, his form shimmering before vanishing into the unknown. Moxxie and Millie exchanged a glance, then followed suit, disappearing into the vortex.

Blitzø stumbled out of the portal, landing unceremoniously on a patch of soft grass. He blinked, taking in his surroundings. The sky was a brilliant shade of blue, the air was fresh and filled with the scent of eucalyptus, and colorful flowers dotted the landscape. It was a far cry from the fiery depths of Hell.

"Well, this is different," Blitzø muttered, brushing himself off. "Where the hell are we?"

Millie and Moxxie appeared behind him, both looking equally bewildered. "It's...peaceful," Moxxie observed, his tone laced with suspicion. "Too peaceful."

A burst of laughter drew their attention, and they turned to see two figures approaching. A blue heeler pup with boundless energy and her little sister, a orange heeler, were playing a game of chase, their giggles echoing through the air.

Blitzø's eyes widened. "Is that...a dog?"

Millie's face lit up. "Oh my gosh, they're so cute!"

Before they could react, the blue heeler pup skidded to a stop in front of them, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Hi there! I'm Bluey! Who are you?"

Blitzø cleared his throat, putting on his most charming smile. "Name's Blitzø. These are my associates, Moxxie and Millie. We're, uh, new in town."

Bluey tilted her head. "You look funny. Are you here to play?"

"Play?" Blitzø echoed, momentarily thrown off guard. He quickly recovered, his grin returning. "Sure, kid. We can play. But first, we've got some business to take care of. Ever heard of Immediate Murder Professionals? We need more customers!"

Bluey's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Murder? Is that like a game?"

Moxxie groaned, facepalming. "This is going to be a disaster."

Blitzø ignored him, leaning down to Bluey's level. "Something like that. But don't you worry, we're professionals. Now, why don't you show us around?"

As Bluey eagerly began leading them through her yard, Blitzø couldn't help but feel a strange sense of intrigue. This place was different, yes, but it had potential. And if there was one thing Blitzø knew how to do, it was turning potential into chaos.
