Break out

It was a quiet evening in the Heeler household. Bandit and Chilli were relaxing in the living room, the television on but barely registering in their minds as they sipped their tea. The absence of Blitzø, Moxxie, and Millie still lingered, an unspoken tension that hung in the air.

Suddenly, the news anchor's urgent tone broke through their thoughts.

"We interrupt this program with breaking news. The Australian government has captured and detained a group of unidentified creatures involved in a recent hit-and-run incident. Sources confirm these individuals exhibit unusual abilities and are currently being held at a high-security facility for further testing."

Bandit and Chilli exchanged a glance, their hearts sinking as images of the demons flashed on the screen. They saw Blitzø, Moxxie, and Millies mugshots, along with images of them in there cells.

"Oh no," Chilli whispered, her hand covering her mouth. "What have we done?"

Bandit's face was pale with shock. "We didn't know they'd be treated like this. They're our friends, even if they made a mistake."

Chilli's eyes filled with tears. "We have to do something. We can't leave them there."

In the cold, sterile corridors of the containment center, Blitzø had been working tirelessly on a plan. The loss of his ego destroyed his strength, but they couldn't dull his determination. He had spent hours studying the guard patterns, the shifts, and the weaknesses in the security system.

Finally, the opportunity came. During a shift change, he managed to pick the lock of his cell using a small, sharp piece of metal he had hidden in his boot that was always there. The door creaked open, and Blitzø slipped out, his heart pounding.

He moved stealthily down the corridor, sticking to the shadows. The facility was eerily quiet, the only sounds being the hum of machinery and the occasional footsteps of guards. Blitzø reached Moxxie's cell and began working on the lock.

"Hurry, Blitzø," Moxxie whispered through the door, his voice tense.

"Almost there," Blitzø muttered, his fingers working quickly.

Just as the lock clicked open, an alarm blared. Red lights flashed, and the sound of heavy footsteps echoed down the corridor.

"Move, Moxxie!" Blitzø shouted, pushing the door open.

Moxxie darted out, his eyes wide with panic. "What now?"

"We fight," Blitzø said, pulling a stolen gun from his waistband. "Get to Millie's cell. I'll cover you."

Moxxie nodded, sprinting down the corridor towards Millie's cell. Blitzø took a deep breath, bracing himself as a squad of armed guards rounded the corner.

"Stop right there!" one of the guards shouted, raising his weapon.

Blitzø didn't hesitate. He fired a low shot, making his balls bleed out with destroyed testicles. The corridor erupted into chaos as bullets flew in both directions. Blitzø moved with surprising agility, dodging and returning fire, using the walls and corners for cover.

Moxxie reached Millie's cell and quickly picked the lock, his hands shaking. "Come on, Millie, we need to go!"

Millie burst out of her cell, instantly making out with Moxxie. "Where's Blitzø?" she then asked.

"Fighting off the guards," Moxxie replied, his voice strained. "We need to help him."

They ran back towards the sound of gunfire, determined to reach their friend. Blitzø was holding his own, but the guards were closing in. His ammunition was running low, and he was beginning to tire.

"Blitzø!" Millie shouted, drawing her own stolen firearm and opening fire on the guards (always had one all the time).

Blitzø glanced back, a relieved grin spreading across his face. "About time you two showed up!"

Moxxie and Millie joined the shoot-up, their combined firepower overwhelming the guards. The demons fought with a fierce determination, Millie could have got out of there by herself to be honest. Within minutes, the corridor was littered with dead and decapitated guards.

"We need to move, now!" Blitzø urged, reloading his gun. "More will be coming."

They sprinted through the facility, dodging guards and alarms, their goal clear: escape. They reached a secured exit and Blitzø quickly shot the lock, conveniently opening the door.

The night air hit them like a wave of freedom. They didn't stop to savor it, though; they kept running, disappearing into the shadows of the night.

Back at the Heeler house, Bandit and Chilli were frantic. They had called a trusted friend in law enforcement, hoping to find a way to help their friends.

"Are you sure about this?" the friend had asked, his tone skeptical. "These creatures are dangerous."

"They're not dangerous," Bandit insisted. "They're our friends. They just need help."

Chilli nodded, her resolve firm. "Please, we have to do something."

As the night wore on, they could only hope that their friends would find a way to escape and that they could somehow make amends for their part in the demons' plight. The guilt weighed heavily on their hearts, but their determination to set things right was stronger. They owed it to Blitzø, Moxxie, and Millie to help them find freedom once more.
