I brush off that voice for now and turn off the TV. I throw away my food and start to clean up. Just then, y/bf bursts through the door. I immediately whip my head around to the door, looking confused. 

"Y/N GUESS WHAT"

I smile, I know this is going to be good. "WHAT Y/BF"

"GUESS WHO I JUST MET, OUT HERE IN JERSEY"

"WHOOO", I say in genuine curiosity.

"DO YOU REMEMBER BACK IN GRADE SCHOOL WHEN WE WERE FRIENDS WITH THIS GUY NAMED NICK? HES DOWN HERE BACK IN JERSEY !"

I smile and try to think of who she's talking about, "y/bf, sorry to break it to you but I don't think I remember".

She rushes over and shoves her phone in my hand. I scan the picture over quickly trying to get an idea of who this guy is. Then out of no where it hits me, that voice. I slightly go wide eyes as I go from the muscular short brown haired boy to the one standing on y/bf's right. That voice. I know where I know it from. How did I not catch it before? 

"Isn't that crazy, he was just visiting family in jersey and he said he wanted to catch up sometime. He asked me about you and said we should all hangout soon"

I slowly nod, questioning why didn't she mention Isaac. Isaac was also our friend, he became friends with nick in early highschool years. They met through discord and ended up meeting up since they didn't live that far from each other. Ever since then nick introduced Isaac to us. Long story short, I liked Isaac. Like REALLY liked Isaac. Feelings were complicated back then, I don't know why I was that way. 

I never knew if he liked me as well because I never had the guts to tell him. We eventually all grew apart except for me and y/bf, of course. Ever since then I haven't really thought about him, until that picture. 

I guess y/bf noticed I was zoned out, so she asked. "Hey y/n, you alright?". "yeah, it's just..." I say deciding if I should tell her. She shakes my shoulders,"Y/N TELL MEEEE". I smile at Her remark. 

"Well why didn't you mention isaac?" I say slightly upset.

"Oh. I'm sorry I kinda forgot to mention him, I mean I wasn't really close with him like I was with nick, I'm sorry"

"its okay" I say smiling just a little, "okay well I'm gonna head to bed so I can freshen up for the weekend".

"Okay night nighttt, let me know if you do wanna hang out with them anytime soon, just incase they decide to leave jersey soon". Y/bf says while venturing into the kitchen.

I give her a slight smile and nod, I start to walk back to my bedroom. I change and start to think on Isaac again. It's crazy how much time has passed, he looks so .... different. Not in a bad way, just different I suppose.
