It's been a week since our "friend" date, and I still haven't texted the number Isaac had given me. Me and y/bf we're sitting in our living room, discussing summer plans. A couple of days after hanging out with Isaac and Nick, y/bf and I had our finals, and now school was out for the summer. Like I mentioned before me and y/bf planned on going to Texas for the summer.
"Yeah, are we thinking Austin?" y/bf says while scanning the plane tickets. I think on it a bit; if we traveled to Austin, I could maybe make a vlog out of it since I didn't get to upload much because of school. "mh, yeah", I say, pulling out my phone. Just then, y/bf gets a text, she scans over it before turning to me and shaking my shoulders. I look over to her with a puzzled look, and she shoves her phone into my hand. I notice it was a text from Nick? "Hey, let us know when you're coming to Texas! We would love to have some guests over ;). (PS tell y/n to text Isaac, he's going insane)." The text reads, I smile at his antics. How did he know we were buying tickets? He must be some type of mind reader. I hand her back her phone, and she types away. My mind traces back to Isaac. I don't know why, but I was scared to text him after that night. I never brought myself to do it. I text Isaac and wait for a response, and my attention goes back to y/bf, who's still texting Nick. She passes her phone to me, and I scan the texts:

I hand her back her phone. I guess we'll be staying with Nick and his friends when we're in Austin.

I was sitting in my room, and a couple of hours had passed since we had bought our tickets. I sit in the middle of my room, my suitcase folded open. I try to plan outfits in my head, and I grow bored, y/bf was also packing in her room, but last time I checked, she was on a call with Nick. I think of that again, and I remember Isaac once again. I reach to grab my phone, maybe I should text him. It would be awkward not talking for a couple of weeks and then going to his house and staying there. I open my phone, and I type in the number he gave me: "Hey! it's y/n. Sorry for taking so long to finally text." Before I can even put down my phone, I get a reply. We go back and forth a bit:

Isaac calls me, and I pick up hesitantly. I notice his phone is pointed toward the ceiling. I smile and prop up my phone. He does the same, resting his phone against something on his desk. I notice his headphones were on, one side behind his ear, instead of on it. "I thought you weren't doing anything, hm?" he does a slight side smile, and I immediately start to smile as well. "I mean, yeah, I'm just editing so it's not that interesting." I notice how his lights are dim, and his curtains are black out, making his room barely lit. I scan his face, and I see how his computer screen lights up his strong features; this makes my face heat up.

We talked for a bit, and I got to say, he sped up my packing process a bit. I got a whole week of outfits planned out and a couple of extra items. Halfway through our call, Isaac gets off his computer and moves to his bed, flopping on it. I smile at his antics, "Tired?" I say, folding a shirt, "Mh, a bit. Come over and cuddle up with me, baby." I roll my eyes playfully, "mh maybe if you're lucky". He smiles at this, and we continue to talk. I decide to finish packing for the day, and I move to my bed as well. As I ramble on about something random, I notice a sound. I look over at my phone, and I stay quiet. I noticed it again; it was a soft snore. I smile to myself, he fell asleep on the phone. I leave my phone on the side of me and climb under the sheets, growing more tired by the second. I check the time, and it's around 1 am. As I drift off to sleep, Isaac's snores accompany me and my sleep.
