It was a rare day off for Jimin, the successful businessman who usually found himself buried in spreadsheets and meetings. Since Taehyung wasn't here, he decided to go out with his father. Today, he decided to unwind at the bustling supermall, a place he hadn't visited in ages. Dressed casually yet stylishly, he blended into the crowd, enjoying the simple pleasure of window shopping.
As he strolled through the mall, the scent of fresh pretzels and the buzz of shoppers filled the air. Jimin stopped at a sleek, modern coffee shop to grab a latte. Just as he turned to leave, a familiar voice pierced through the chatter.
"Well, well, well, if it isn't Mr. Always-Too-Busy-for-Old-Friends!" The voice was sassy and loud.
Jimin turned around, feigning shock. "Yuna! Is that really you? Or am I hallucinating from too much work?"
Standing before him was Yuna, an old friend known for her wit and charm. She smirked, clearly enjoying his surprise. "It's me, alright. Though I wouldn't be surprised if you're seeing things, considering how long it's been since you crawled out of that office of yours."
Jimin laughed. "Guilty as charged. But hey, I've missed our little run-ins."
"Missed me? Could've fooled me. I thought you forgot all about us mere mortals," Yuna teased.
"Never! It's just been... busy, you know? The life of a businessman," Jimin replied with a playful grin.
"Oh, I know. The last I heard, you were single-handedly saving the economy," Yuna said, rolling her eyes.
"Someone's gotta do it. But look at you, still as radiant as ever. What brings you to this part of town?" Jimin asked, genuinely curious.
"Shopping, of course. You know, that thing normal people do when they aren't buried in spreadsheets," Yuna quipped.
"Touché. I'm actually here to unwind. It's my day off," Jimin admitted.
"A day off? Wow, did hell freeze over or something?" Yuna mocked.
"Funny. I thought I'd treat myself to some retail therapy. Maybe even buy something nice for a special someone," Jimin said, blushing slightly.
Yuna raised an eyebrow. "Special someone? Hold up. Did you just say special someone? Are we talking about the same Jimin who swore off relationships to marry his job?"
"Uh, yeah. About that..." Jimin started.
"Spill it! Who's the lucky person? And how come I'm hearing about this now?" Yuna demanded, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
"Wait a minute, how do you know about this? I haven't told anyone yet," Jimin asked, genuinely confused.
"Oh, you know, a little birdie told me. Well, more like a little Instagram post," Yuna said with a grin.
"Instagram? But I didn't post anything..." Jimin trailed off.
"You didn't, but someone else did. I saw a cute photo of you and a mystery person looking all cozy at that new rooftop bar. And you know me, I have my sources," Yuna explained.
Jimin laughed, realizing his secret was out. But he was surprised, did his boyfriend really create a seperate account for bombarding their pictures? It was such a lovely gesture which made him blush at what must be running in Taehyung's head while posting it.
"So much for keeping it a secret. Yeah, we've been seeing each other for a few months now. He's amazing."
"Amazing enough to pull you out of your workaholic ways, huh? I'm impressed," Yuna said, genuinely happy for him.
