Jimin was sleeping peacefully when he felt a sudden flash of blurred scenes ran in his mind. He winced in his sleep , tossing and turning around uncomfortably.
Taehyung (who was a very light sleeper) was quick to wake up and looked at the struggling male beside him. He concluded that Jimin was having nightmares so he moved closer and started caressing Jimin's hairs softly.
"Shh calm down.." He whispered in a soothing tone and the latter visibly relaxed but not completely.
The younger took Jimin into his arms and swiftly pulled him in his lap and started rocking him back and forth slowly while muttering sweet nothings and the older kept clinging to him, visibly finding his safe place in Taehyung's warm embrace.
Soon after almost half an hour, Taehyung was still awake with Jimin in his arms as the elder had finally calmed down. He was still holding him tight as if the moment they lost contact, the whole world would collapse. The younger caressed Jimin's cheek for a moment.
He admired his beauty for a while before slowly drifting into sleep too, hugging the elder tightly afraid to let him go.
On the other hand in South Korea, Seoul, Jungkook was sitting in his car as he was stuck in a heavy traffic. He was rethinking about his life... everything such as getting his marriage fixed and then Jimin breaking it off and all.
Even though he was not invested in this marriage at all because he simply had no interest, it hurt his ego that how dare Jimin reject him. It kept him wondering that what could be the reason behind it.
Was he lacking? Did he needs to improve? No, not for Jimin but for his future partner. He was always known for his ideal qualities yet this time the situation was quite different and it made him really confused.
When he received the news of rejection, he was surprised but not upset yet now the more he thinks, the more worried he got. What could be the reason? Is there anything Jimin knows or found wrong in him? There were lots of questions going on in his mind.
"Uncle" He heard some knocks on his car's window as he looked to find a tiny boy looking at him with cute yet helpless eyes.
He didn't look like the usual poor ones who would seek for help but the kid looked well dressed and from a high family background.
"Help please 🥺" The child said with his innocent pleading eyes and Jungkook immediately lowered down his glass.
"Hey kid, are you okay?" Jungkook questioned with a soft tone as he didn't want to scare away the little boy.
"I'm lost...I lost contact with aunty Mary" The kid said with a hiccup, chewing his bottom lip and it seemed like he would cry soon.
His face looked really familiar in Jungkook's eyes as if he's seen this face before but not exactly.
"Get inside" He opened the door as he saw that the traffic was clearing up soon and the cars were gonna start soon.
He made the kid sit on the passenger seat and ruffled his hairs , soothing him so that he won't cry. He knows he might look like a fool right now but he felt an immediate connection with this kid.
