Ch.1 The capture of Leatherhead

Chains rattled in the air as buff henchmen hold onto Leatherhead. They force him to walk towards a cannon and makes him kneel to the floor.

A tall and muscular man looks over the captured Leatherhead.

"It's time to die freak" the man smirks.

"You'll never get away with this!" Leatherhead snares.

"Shut up freak!" The man shouts.

One of the henchmen lights the cannon and fires comes out, blasting Leatherhead burning him to death.

"Did you get the cameras get all that ?" The man asked.

"Yes sir" One of the henchmen said.

"Good" The said as he walks away.

The portal opens in the lair. Mikey, Raph and the others step out.

"Home sweet home" Mikey breathes out with a smile.

Leo enters the room and looked suprise and happy to see Mikey.

"Mikey !" Leo cheers as he rushed up to the youngest turtle and hugs him.

"Leo ! Your healed !" Mikey said with a smile.

"Yeah but Master Splinter told me to take it easy" Leo said with smile.

He was happy to see his brother again.

"Hey I got some pizza.... Mikey is that you ?!" Donnie said in shock before running up to Mikey and hugs him.

"Donnie it's great to see you and pizza I missed pizza" Mikey said.

"Here you can have the entire box I know you probably been craving some pizza" Donnie said as he hands Mikey the box.

"Alright !" Mikey grins as he takes a slice.

Leo turns to Raph with a look.

"Splinter is mad at you for leaving the lair" Leo said.

"I had to make sure my baby brother was alright !" Raph shouts.

"What's on earth is going on in here !" Splinter demands.

Then he sees Mikey. Mikey stares at him with guilt.

"Dad I can explain..." Mikey said but Splinter hugs him instead of getting mad.

"There's no need to explain my son I understand" Splinter said as he holds his son tight.

"You do ?" Mikey said in shock.

"You needed to go on a journey of self discovery in order to find yourself" Splinter said.

"But I'm afraid I worried you when I ran to Japan" Mikey said.

"I was able to sense you through your meditation" Splinter said.

"Are you mad at me?" Mikey asked ashamed.

"Of course not my son I'm just glad your home" Splinter said.

Then Splinter sees Raph and glares at him.

"I told to let your brother go on his journey and not to go after him" Splinter states firmly.

"Master Splinter I had to I was worried and the last time I even saw Mikey was when he was being lowed towards mutantagen" Raph said.

"I knew your brother would be alright but you Raphael disobey me ! Your grounded!" Splinter said angrily.

"Oh man" Raph mutters.

"Come my son let's has some tea so you can tell me about your journey" Splinter said.

Father and Son walked towards the dojo.

"Raph do you want to introduce us to your new friends?" Donnie asked.

"Yes this is Alpoxe, Mondo gecko, Karasu, and Tikki" Raph said.

"Nice to meet you ?" Leo said.

"Can you help us with our mutations?" Karasu asked.

"I can see what I can do" Donnie said.

Mikey sits across from Splinter as he drinks some tea and eats some pizza.
Splinter smiles at his son.

"How was your journey my son?" Splinter asked.

"It was great but always kinda of scary" Mikey said.

"Tell me about it" Splinter said.

"Well have you ever had to make a choice that would alert the enemy but you did to save a friend?" Mikey

Splinter strokes his bread.

"That depends on the situation" Splinter said.

"Well my new friend Akane was being chocked by Iku I was afraid for so I throw a rock to free her but it alerted the entire foot clan elite some of got captured and Shinigami sacrificed her freedom so I can get away" Mikey explains.

"I see. My son I see you were faced with challenges" Splinter said.

"Did I make the right decision Mastet Splinter?" Mikey asked.

"I can't say if you did or did not make the right choice Michelangelo" Splinter said.

"But the choice lead us to be chased by the entire foot clan elite" Mikey said.

"Do you think you made the right choice?" Splinter asked.

"I...I don't know" Mikey said.

"It's seems like you did what you had to do to save your friend" Splinter said.

"I think I learned alot more with my new friends" Mikey said.

"My son out of all your brothers you are the spiritual one" Splinter said.

"I am ?" Mikey asked suprisesed

"Yes and your next tasked of self discovery is finding inner peace" Splinter said.

"How do I do that ?" Mikey asked.

"In my experience suffering" Splinter said.

"Oh... Is there another way ?" Mikey asked.

"Yes there is. You must meditate as long as you can before it can be achieved" Splinter said.

"Okay dad I'm ready" Mikey said with excitement.

Splinter chuckles.

"I know you excited but you must be tired from your journey. Rest for the night and tomorrow will begin the training" Splinter said as he places a hand on Mikey's shoulder.k

Mikey smiles before leaving for bed.
