Ch.8 In big trouble

"What have you boys done ?!" Splinter shouts as he scolds at the three turtles.

Mikey, Karai and Mark were watching from outside the dojo. Mikey looked worried.

"Master Splinter we were unaware that someone was filming us" Donnie said.

"That's not an excuse! I taught you to always stay in the shadows !" Master Splinter scolds.

"With whole New York knowing we exist other mutants are at risked" Leo said.

"Exactly ! Now you and your youngest brother are in danger!" Splinter said with his voice raised.

Mikey flinches at this news.

"But Master Splinter you don't understand Slash and Leatherhead is dead because of this Don Visio guy !" Raph shouts.

Mikey tears up when hears the death of his best friend. Karai hugs him in comfort.

"You three are grounded for 5 weeks !" Splinter states.

"But Master Splinter we have to protect other mutants before they get killed" Leo said.

"I have to keep you boys safe ! So none of you are leaving the lair" Splinter said.

"What about Mikey ? He wasn't with us" Raph said.

"Your brother is special and he just returned home I just don't want to lose him again" Splinter said sadly.

Mikey gasps at this.

"It's okay my son I know you heard everything. You may come in" Splinter said.

Mikey walks in with Karai and Mark.

"I'm sorry Master Splinter I was just concerned" Mikey said.

"It's okay my son" Splinter said.

"Master Splinter I know you want to protect me but I have to save all mutants" Mikey said.

"My son will have to do your meditating training" Splinter said.

"And we will do that" Mikey said.

"I will protect Mikey" Karai said as she places a hand on his shoulder.

"Yeah Karai will be with me ! Her and I can go portaling together!" Mikey said.

"Okay that's not happening!" Raph snares.

"Why not?" Mikey asked confused.

"Mikey, she held a gun to your head ! Do you really trust her?!" Raph said.

"Raph she was scared and confused but I trust her" Mikey said.

"Why Mikey ?! Why do you trust her ?!" Raph shouts.

Karai stands in front of Raph.

"He trusts me because I'm his sister" Karai snares.

Raph stands back.

"Karai is right she is family" Leo said.

"So we're all forgetting she held a gun to our baby brother's head" Raph snares.

"Raph I don't hold any hurt feelings like I use to and Karai didn't hurt anyone" Mikey explains.

"I'm sorry Raphael I just want to be a better sister to Mikey and you guys" Karai said.

Raph looks at her before storming off.

"Raph wait !" Leo said but Splinter stops him.

"Let him be" Splinter said.

"So can me and Karai go on portal?" Mikey asked.

"Yes you two can on portal if only you promise to protect each other" Splinter said.

"We will" Karai said.

Splinter smiles at them.

"How about we take a rest for the night" Splinter said.

The turtles, Karai and Mark walk out of the dojo. Suddenly Casey and April enter the lair. Casey's eyes landed on Mark.

"Mark is that you ?" Casey asked in shock.

Mark smiles.

"Hey baby brother" Mark said as he hugs Casey.

"I missed you too big brother" Casey whispers.

The turtles and Karai smile at the brothers being reunited.
