2 weeks later,
Mikey races across the rooftops with an excited smile on his face. He felt confident in his new found abilities as a ninja. He haven't felt this good in awhile. He suddenly sees a small black cat and Mikey smiles.
"Hi little guy" Mikey said with a smile as he pats the cat.
"I see your still a cat person" purrs a voice.
Mikey looks up to see Shinigami.
"Shini!" Mikey shouts in excitement as he runs to Shinigami and hugs her.
"I forgot to give you something" Shinigami said before kissing Mikey on the lips.
Mikey let's him sink into the kiss. After what felt like a long time they break apart.
"Whoa" Mikey said.
Shinigami smiles as the little black cat jumps on her shoulder.
"Mikey this is my cat sassy" Shinigami said.
"Aw what a cute little kitty" Mikey smiles as he pets Sassy which purrs to.
"I think she likes you" Shinigami giggles.
"I like her too" Mikey giggles as Sassy jumps into his arms. "Why are you back in New York?"
Shinigami brings out Mikey's T-phone and gives it to him.
"I wonder where that went" Mikey said sheepishly.
"I'm sorry I took it Mikey I just wanted something to remember you by" Shinigami apologized.
"No don't be sorry I'm happy to see you" Mikey said.
"But I wanted to give you something to remember me by so I'm giving you Sassy I know she'll take care of you" Shinigami said.
"Shinigami I don't know what to say" Mikey said.
"There no need I know you'll take good care of Sassy" Shinigami said with a smile.
She then frowns.
"I have to head back to New York but remember Mikey I'll always love you" Shinigami said with a sad smile.
"You don't have to leave you can live with me and my brothers" Mikey said as he holds her hand.
"I'm sorry Mikey but I have to leave after everything that happened in Japan what Iku and Tatsu did to me I haven't recovered" Shinigami admits sadly.
"Shinigami I'll always be there for you no matter what" Mikey said.
Shinigami hugs Mikey.
"I love you silly one" Shinigami smiles.
"I love you too Shini" Mikey whispers.
They break apart and then Shinigami disappeared within red smoke.
Mikey looks at Sassy.
"I gusse it's just you and me Sassy" Mikey said petting his new pet.

Back at the lair Mikey was eating some pizza with Sassy sitting in his lap. She purred against his lap.
Raph, Leo and Donnie walk in and sees Sassy.
"Hey Mikey, what's with the cat?" Raph asked.
"Oh this Sassy. Shinigami gave me her" Mikey said.
"Shinigami?!" You gotta be kidding me !" Raph snares.
Sassy hisses at Raph.
"Oh I don't like you !" Raph snares.
"Come on Raph Sassy is nice" Mikey said as he pets Sassy.
"Yeah Raph it's just a cat" Donnie said.
"But it's just a cat from Shinigami" Raph snares.
"What's wrong with that ?" Leo asked.
"Look guys you don't know Shinigami like I know her" Raph said.
"Why was she bad news ?" Leo asked.
"She's not bad news Raph you just had to get to know her, she's pretty sweet" Mikey said.
"Mikey listen I know you like Shinigami but she was always butting in when I was trying to make things right with you and she always mocked me" Raph explains.
"It sounded like you deserved it" Leo snorts.
"Don't start with me Leo" Raph snares.
Splinter walks in and sees Sassy on Mikey's lap.
"Is that a cat ?" Splinter asked.
"Oh master Splinter this is Sassy my new pet! Don't worry she's friendly" Mikey said quickly.
"I see" Splinter said as he carefully pets the cat.
Sassy purrs which makes Splinter chuckle.
"She is nice. But my son are you ready to meditate?" Splinter asked.
"Yes Master Splinter" Mikey said as he puts Sassy down and walks to the dojo with Splinter.

"Clear your head my son" Splinter said.
Mikey takes a deep breath and closes his eyes. He tries to clear his head but he kept thinking about Shinigami. He had a hard time focusing. Splinter notices this.
"It's okay if you have trouble with meditation. This is your first time" Splinter said.
Mikey opens his eyes and looks at Splinter.
"I just have a lot on my mind" Mikey admits.
"Is because of Shinigami?" Splinter asked.
"Yes I just miss her" Mikey said.
"Ah I know this feeling well" Splinter said with a smile.
"You do ?" Mikey asked suprise.
"You know Mikey when I was your age I always thought of Tang Shen it was the only thing I could think of" Splinter said with a smile.
"I know you miss her" Mikey said sadly.
"My father always told me that you should remember the best part of a person that you care about" Splinter said.
Mikey smiles.
"Let's try again my son" Splinter said as he holds Mikey's hands.
