Ch.12 A shocking truth

"Did you see me ? I was blocking all of Razar's attacks" Mikey cheers.

Karai chuckles.

"You did pretty good little brother" Karai said.

"So Karai is on our side now?" Alpoex asked.

"Yeah pretty much" Mikey replies.

They arrive at the lair and see Master Splinter looking worried.

"Where have you been?" Splinter asked worried.

"We ran into Tigerclaw, Fishface and Razar" Mikey said.

"What?! are you okay ?" Donnie asked.

"Yeah! I totally kicked Razar's butt" Mikey said with a grin.

"Nice !" Raph said with a grin as he high fives Mikey.

Splinter strokes his bread.

"My son there's something I need to tell you" Splinter said.

"What is it Dad ?" Mikey asked.

"I know I told the story how we became a family" Splinter said.

"Yeah you bought four baby turtles" Mikey said.

"I actually bought three Leonard, Raphael and Donatello" Splinter said.

"Wait Master Splinter what are you trying to say?" Leo asked.

"I didn't buy your brother from the pet store I found him lost in the swears so I adopted him" Splinter explained.

"Wait so your not really my dad and you guys aren't really my brothers" Mikey asked with sadness in his voice.

"Of course not your still our brother" Leo said.

"Yeah no matter you came from your still one of us" Raph said.

"Did i have a family before you found me?" Mikey asked.

"I'm not sure my son you were all alone when I found you" Splinter said.

"Are you okay Mikey?" Karai asked.

"Uh yeah I'm okay" Mikey lies.

"I know this is alot to take in but I want to let you know you are still my son" Splinter said as he places a hand on Mikey's shoulder.

"I know dad, thanks for telling me" Mikey said.

"Come let's get you to bed" Splinter said.

Splinter leads Mikey to his room and lays him down.

"Good night my son" Splinter said.

"Good night dad" Mikey said before falling asleep.
