A Turtle's inner Peace (Sequel to A turtle's self journey)

Ch.30 Inner peace

Mikey's unconscious body floats in the river. Wanda comes across his body. Eric picks up and carries him. He places Mikey on a cot. Wanda wraps bandaids around Mikey's chest, arms and head. Mikey begins to wake up. Wanda looks at him.

"Where am I ?" Mikey said as he whinces at the pain.

"Your at our hideout" Eric said.

Mikey looks at another cot to see Maddie laying there. She looked deathly pale.

"Maddie ?" Mikey asked tears streaming down his face.

"Iku killed her" Wanda said sadly.

"We brought her here so she could rest in peace" Eric said.

"Why bring me here ?" Mikey asked.

"So you can fulfill your destiny" Wanda said.

"What are you talking about?" Mikey asked.

"I'm surprised you remember so little then again you were just a baby" Wanda said.

Mikey hears scream causing him to winces and fall to the ground looking at the river.

"Perhaps you do remember"

"What it's just a nightmare" Mikey said.

"Nightmare? Or memorie?" Wanda asked.

Mikey sees himself as a baby in the river crawling around and giggling. He sees the turtle woman gently smiling at him.

"Iku was growing more crazier as she got to age 8. Grandmother Regina for told a mutant turtle would stand in his way but she couldn't for told what happened next" Wanda explains.

Mikey sees fire and his baby self crying foot ninjas charge at him but the turtle woman punches them back. She then picks him up and runs.

Mikey whinces in pain and holds his head breathing heavily.

"Stop fighting let it flow" Wanda said.

Mikey steps into the river and takes a deep breath. He closes his eyes and starts to meditate.

He sees his mother carrying him as she runs through the streets of New York as foot ninjas try to swing their swords at her. She keeps running until she finds an ally way and puts Mikey in the peach basket.

Baby Mikey cries. Mikey's mother tries to calm him down by holding his hands and kissing his forehead. She smiles at him sadly with tears in her eyes. She let's go of his hands. Baby Mikey cries for his mother as she runs out of the ally wave and leads Iku and the foot ninjas away from baby Mikey. Baby Mikey sees Iku before hearing the cry of agony of his mother.

Mikey opens up his eyes and tears up.
His mother didn't abandon him. She saved him. Mikey breathes heavily as he steps out the river.

"Your story may not had a happy beginning but it's the rest of your story and how you choose to be" Wanda said.

Mikey sees happy memories and the kiss of Shinigami.

"So who are you kappa?" Wanda asked.

"I am Mikey and I'm going need back up" Mikey said with determination.
