This is the au I've been working on since March. These are some of the oneshot fanfics I've been working on, and I'll continue to type more. I hope everyone enjoys it.
About this au, I decided to combine it with all three of the DiC Mario cartoons. It's also like a continuation to the games as well. The Marios act the same as their super show cartoon selves, and I even have some OCs in it as well. I will be introducing some of the characters for this. These are the characters so far.
Mario is the older twin brother of Luigi. He still makes a lot of pasta jokes. In the au, he is Lillie Jasmine Mario's uncle and wants to protect her from King Koopa or any other enemies. He is also a culinary artist just like Luigi. He drives the Marios car, which is a 1984 plymouth voyager.
Luigi is Mario's younger twin brother. In the au, he is Lillie Jasmine Mario's adopted father. He's into dad jokes, still says his holy pasta phrases, and can be a bit overprotective, mostly of Lillie. He's scared of heights, spiders, ghosts, doing anything dangerous, etc. He's also a culinary artist in the au, is a part-time florist, attends pta meetings, and even volunteers to be a substitute teacher at Lillie's school. He also enjoys taking mid-day naps with her. He has his own motorcycle and it was originally from Sayonara. In the au, the citizens let him keep it, so he has the permits for it and everything.
Princess Peach Toadstool is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She does get kidnapped by King Koopa sometimes but makes escape attempts. In the au, she was the one who took in Lillie and decided to take care of her. She decided to let Luigi adopt her because of how he's been protective of her and keeping her safe from the roseitis outbreak (I made an infection au as well for this au and the oneshot fanfics take place after the infection ended). She doesn't drive, but sometimes, in the spring, she rides her bike around with Toad chilling in the basket.
Toad is Princess Toadstool's servant/friend. He always sticks by her side no matter what. In the au, he helps Princess Toadstool take care of Lillie. He's also Lillie's best friend, and they treat each other like they are siblings. In the au, he has his own motorcycle that he got from Car Land, and the other Toads help make it for him before they left.
King Bowser Koopa is the evil reptilian king of Dark Land. He, his Koopa Pack, and his Koopa kids cause mayhem for other kingdoms, but mostly the Mushroom Kingdom. He has an adopted daughter named Aiko Harper Koopa, who started to pick up his rotten attitude when she got older. He always tries to kidnap Princess Toadstool.
Princess Daisy is the princess of Sarasaland. She is also Luigi's girlfriend in the au. In it, she has an adopted daughter named Roseanne Faye Lockwood. She comes to the Mushroom Kingdom regularly to just hang out.
Princess Rosalina is the princess/mother of the cosmos. She is a mother to the Lumas and her adopted daughter Aurora Juliet Rinne. She used to read lots of stories to Aurora when she was little.
Mayor Pauline is the mayor of New Donk City and is also Mario's ex-girlfriend. Both of them remain as friends and treat each other with respect. She has an adopted daughter named Meghan Piper Verducci. Pauline loves to perform around the city, which caught her daughter's interest in wanting to be a musician and got her interested in fashion.
Prince Florian is the prince of the Flower Kingdom. He has an adopted daughter named Blossom Flora Evergreen. The Poplins helped him with taking care of her when she arrived at the kingdom. He had his castle taken away by Koopa temporarily but got it back with Mario and the gang's help.
Wario and Waluigi are Mario and Luigi's arch rivals. These two are not brothers, and they cause a lot of mayhem. They are taking care of a girl named Willow Emily Solace in the au. She has picked up their rotten attitudes as well.
Wapeach is a scrapped Nintendo character from Mario Power Tennis. In the au, she is the arch rival of Princess Toadstool. She gets into some arguments with Willow and sometimes gets picked on by her for being short.
King Boo is one of Luigi's enemies. In the au, he has an adopted daughter who can turn from a human to a ghost named Hana Carrie Grimrose. He helps her with scaring Luigi and Lillie whenever they're ghost hunting.

Lillie Jasmine Mario is a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom. She is Mario's niece and Luigi's adopted daughter. Her previous last name was Ashford, and she was originally from North Dakota. She ran away because her biological family was emotionally and physically abusive towards her because they wanted their firstborn child to be a boy. She has ptsd from the roseitis outbreak and has nightmares because of it. In the au, she arrived at the Mushroom Kingdom when she was 3 years old and was taken care of by Princess Toadstool and Toad. She's the main protagonist of the au and goes to therapy for her ptsd. She has a secret crush on her frenemy, Aiko Harper Koopa. She was 13 years old when Mario and Luigi arrived at the Mushroom Kingdom. She is currently 14 years old, and her birthday is December 1st. Lillie might possibly have high functioning autism. She will be the future princess of the Mushroom Kingdom.
Aiko Harper Koopa is King Koopa's adopted daughter. She was originally from California and ran away because of her getting bullied at preschool and / or kindergarten, and she hurt some students. She was originally raised by two moms, but it is unknown what happened to them after she left after realizing what she did. She will be the future queen of Dark Land. She is 16 years old, and her birthday is September 8th.
Roseanne "Rose" Faye Lockwood is Princess Daisy's adopted daughter. She was originally from Canada, and it is unknown why she arrived at the kingdom. She will be the future princess of Sarasaland. She is a tomboy and a tiny bit of a troublemaker. She is also Lillie's best friend and now acts like a sister towards her since Luigi and Daisy are dating. She is 14 years old and her birthday is May 11th.
Aurora Juliet Rinne is Princess Rosalina's adopted daughter. She was originally from the United Kingdom, and she was ignored most of the time by her family for most of her life. She accidentally arrived at the Comet Observatory when she was only 2 years old, and Princess Rosalina decided to take care of her with the Lumas' help. She's now 17 years old (the oldest in Lillie's friend group so far), and her birthday is November 8th.
Meghan Piper Verducci is Mayor Pauline's adopted daughter. She was originally from Wisconsin and arrived at the Metro Kingdom because of her being neglected by her previous family. She has an interest in music and fashion. She will be the future mayor of New Donk City. She is 15 years old and her birthday is August 17th.
Blossom Flora Evergreen is Prince Florian's adopted daughter. Her closest friends are Rose and Lillie. She was originally from Alaska, and it's unknown why she came to the kingdom. A few poplins are her friends, and so is a talking flower. She is a bit iffy about Aiko after what Koopa did to her and Prince Florian's home. She is 15 years old, and her birthday is October 21st.
Willow Emily Solace currently lives with Wario, Waluigi, and Wapeach. She hasn't been adopted by either of them yet, but she's happy being around them. It's unknown where she's originally from. She's the same age as Lillie and is also her arch-rival. Her birthday is July 8th.
Hana Carrie Grimrose is the adopted daughter of King Boo. Some citizens of Dark Land find it strange that she was raised by a ghost. She has a love-hate relationship with Lillie because Luigi and King Boo are enemies. She is Aiko's best friend, is the same age as her, and her birthday is April 22nd.
These are the characters so far and what some of my Mario OCs look like. I will be posting some oneshot fanfics I typed up from deviantart on to here. The oneshot fanfics are in a random order. These are slice of life oneshots, but some will have some action. I hope you enjoy them.
