A/N: I'm not really good at titles, but I hope you guys enjoy it! I apologize for the many timeskips in this.

It was a chilly evening in the Mushroom Kingdom. The Marios were relaxing in the castle after defeating King Koopa and his army once again. Mario and Luigi were in the living room watching TV while Princess Toadstool and Toad were in the same room talking about the battle.

Lillie was upstairs in her room, taking a nap. She was pretty exhausted after the battle and let everyone know not to bother her for a while and crashed on her bed. Even in the battle when she was fighting Aiko, both of them didn't really want to fight, but they kind of had no choice.

All of a sudden, Lillie's head immediately popped off her pillow, and she looked around with a terrified look on her face. She was, unfortunately, still having nightmares of the roseitis outbreak. Even though it was over, part of her still wasn't able to accept that. She started to breathe slowly and deeply to calm herself, which was helping.

"Not again," she mumbled to herself, "I thought I was done with these stupid nightmares! Am I going to just have them for the rest of my life?"

Lillie started to rub her eyes to try to rub away sleep but was unsuccessful. She decided to get up and change out of her pajamas into some comfy clothes. She decided to wear some baggy jeans, a grey T-shirt, her green hoodie, some star designed socks, and her shoes. She had a bit of a bedhead, so she went into the bathroom to brush her hair and put her green bow on her head.

As she walked downstairs, she noticed how her vision was a little bit blurry. She decided to just shrug it off and thought it was from being half awake. She heard Mario chuckle, followed by him saying, "Well, hey there, sleepyhead."

"Hey guys," Lillie said with a bit of a snarky tone in her voice.

"Are you alright, Lillie?" Luigi asked with a hint of concern in his voice.

"Yeah, I'm alright," she replied as she started to yawn.

"All of us are going to leave soon," Princess Toadstool mentioned, "we're going out to eat."

Lillie got a bit excited, but she started to yawn again as Toad giggled at her. She asked if she could take a nap on the way there, and all four of them said yes.

About half an hour passed as all five of the Marios were finished getting around to leave. They were all in comfy and / or casual outfits. Mario quickly grabbed the car key and castle key, and they headed off to the car. Mario sat in the driver's seat, Luigi was in the passenger seat, Toad was in the middle seat in the back, Princess Toadstool was in the seat behind Mario, and Lillie was in the seat behind Luigi. Everyone quickly buckled up as Mario started the car, and off they went to Toad City. Lillie pulled her hood over her head and started to fall asleep.

It was about an hour later when they finally arrived. They parked in front of the restaurant. Toad started to lightly shake Lillie to let her know to get out of the car, but she was lightly snoring. She must've been pretty tired since she wasn't waking up at all and just continued to catch some z's.

"I think I know how to wake her up," Luigi chimed in as he got out of the car, closed his door, and opened Lillie's.

Even though the cold breeze hit Lillie's face, she was still asleep. Mario watched as Luigi helped get Lillie unbuckled but also snickered a bit from what him and the others saw. Luigi lifted up a little bit of Lillie's hoodie and began to lightly tickle her belly.

A small smile started to form on Lillie's face. Luigi was grinning a bit and giggled while stating, "Time to wake up, bambino. We're here."

"I-Ihi'm uhuhup," she mumbled sleepily.

Luigi then stopped as Lillie was finally awake. She fixed her hoodie and then got out of the car while Mario was chuckling. Then, all five of them went inside.

After they were seated and got their menus, they were looking over to see what to get. Toad started to notice how Lillie was squinting at her menu, but he brushed it off and thought maybe she was still tired. Lillie was asking Luigi if both of them could have a deal where you pick two entrées and a side for only twenty-five dollars. He was excited to get some spicy chicken tenders for his entrée.

Meanwhile, Princess Toadstool looked over at Lillie and started to ask, "Hey Lillie, are you okay? You've been squinting a lot today."

"I'm fine," Lillie replied, "I just have a small headache. It's not a big deal."

Mario thought for a moment and chimed in with, "Do you have a pair of glasses?"

"Well... No, not really. I've never had a pair before. Look, I'm just tired, okay? It's just from those nightmares again. I'll be perfectly fine."

"Maybe we should set up an appointment for her at the eye doctor," Luigi mumbled to Toad, and he nodded in agreement.

After a few days went by, Lillie got some tests done at the eye doctor, and it turns out she needed glasses. The doctor told her that she was farsighted, which explains why her vision was a bit bad. All five of the Marios were glad that their question was finally answered.

When they went back to officially get her glasses, she was allowed to try them on and was surprised at how clear everything looked now. They were round shaped glasses that were in a cherry blossom color, and she was very happy.

"Leapin' lasagna," Luigi commented, "I can't believe you were farsighted this whole time, and we all didn't notice."

Princess Toadstool quickly went to go pay for the glasses and smiled at Lillie's reaction. They all went back to the car, got in, and were now on their way back home to the castle.
