Anger Management

Summary: Lillie decides to help Aiko with controlling her anger.

A/N: This one centers around these two girls. I forgot to add that they have secret crushes on each other. They also hang out in secret, even though their families are sworn enemies.

Lillie was cleaning the desk her room as it was a bit messy again. She remembered how either Luigi or Princess Toadstool kept reminding her to clean it, which she's been pushing off lately. She decided to clean it by wiping it down and set her backpack next to the chair so the desk could dry.

All of a sudden, she heard some aggressive loud taps on her window, and she went to go check it out. She saw her frenemy Aiko, who looked exhausted and pissed. Lillie quickly opened her window to let her inside.

"Thanks," Aiko panted as she climbed through, and Lillie shut the window.

"No problem," Lillie smiled, but then asked, "But why are you here, Aiko?"

Aiko still looked pretty pissed and was grumbling about certain enemies being complete idiots. Lillie was a bit curious and asked her to speak up, but Aiko snapped back a bit with, "Not now. I just want to get something to drink first. Do you have anything that sounds good?"

"Well, I can ask my dad to make some peppermint tea for us," Lillie suggested.

"You're going to have to come up with a lie then. I know your dad still thinks I'm a bad influence on you."

Lillie quickly rushed out of her room and headed downstairs to the kitchen. She saw Luigi drinking some donut shop flavored coffee while eating some chicken sandwiches. He noticed that his daughter was panting a bit and asked her if she was okay.

"I'm alright," she said after catching her breath, "but I was wondering if you could make me some peppermint tea. Maybe two cups of it."

"Why do you need two cups?" he questioned.

"Um... I just need two because I've been a bit stressed from school lately. Can you please make me some?"

Luigi finished his sandwiches and went to go make his daughter some tea. What he didn't know was that one of the cups was for Aiko. Lillie felt a little bit anxious as she picked at her nails while she waited.

Eventually, Luigi finished making the two cups of peppermint tea and gave them to Lillie. He reminded her to be careful and that the tea was pretty hot. She understood and rushed off to her room while gingerly holding the cups.

Aiko was sitting on Lillie's bed and was tapping her foot impatiently. Lillie rushed in with the cups and gave one to her. Aiko thanked her and gingerly took a sip since Lillie reminded her it was hot.

"You're acting more and more like that pipesqueak every day," Aiko chuckled.

"Heyyy," Lillie whined a little.

"Well, it's true."

After a few minutes, Lillie decided to ask Aiko what she was angry about. Aiko sighed and started to vent to her frenemy about everything. She told her about how Koopa Troopa was such an idiot when they were patrolling around Dark Land. He blew their cover, and even Tryclyde did the same. King Koopa got after them and shouted at them. Aiko was trying to control her anger, but then her father's henchmen started arguing about something completely ridiculous and snapped at them.

"And that fucking Troopa started to taunt me!" she continued, "I just told him to shut up and he said that that's not how a future queen would act. Luckily King Dad got after him for me."

Lillie set her cup down as she started to hug Aiko and said, "Hey. I'm really sorry that you had a bad day. Is there a way I can help make your day better?"

Aiko thought about it for a moment, set her cup down, and shrugged, "Well, I got something that might help she calm down a bit."

As soon as Lillie was about to ask what it was, Aiko leaned in and started to kiss her. It caught her off guard as her eyes widened, and she blushed. She ended up kissing Aiko back, which helped relieve some stress from her frenemy.

A couple of minutes passed as Lillie asked Aiko if she was going to be okay. Aiko replied by saying, "I'll be okay now. I know the kiss was kind of unnecessary, but I think it helped a bit."

"Do you want me to go and take you home?" Lillie asked.

Aiko shook her head and answered, "I have my own way of getting back home."

She pulled out a bottle of magic potion from her pocket. When Lillie asked why she had it, her frenemy told her that she quickly swiped it when her dad and henchmen weren't looking and knew it would lead her back to her room. She then threw it at a random spot on Lillie's bedroom wall, and a door appeared. Lillie was surprised to see it, but Aiko rushed to it. She opened the door, quickly waved goodbye to her frenemy, walked into the door, closed it, and the door disappeared.

Lillie stood there trying to process what had happened. She then quickly remembered the tea cups, and she quickly grabbed those and went off downstairs to the kitchen. She started to think about that kiss from Aiko and blushed a little as she put the empty cups in the sink.

A/N: Just letting everyone know, these two are not a couple yet. I haven't decided when they will be.
