Chapter 12-talk

Lucy's pov
I didn't mean to be that mean to Tim but it just came out and we still haven't talked he cooked us dinner and we ate in silence and now we are sitting on the couch in silence and Tim has some game on that I'm not paying attention too, I don't think he fully is either, I don't know what brings it on but the need to cry is suddenly so strong and I'm trying my best not to cry right now but it's not working tears end up rolling down my cheeks and I wipe them away as they do but they just keep coming that at this point I give up trying to wipe them away and that's when Tim decided to look over at me god this man has perfect timing doesn't he \
"Hey, hey, lucy baby whats wrong"
"I don't even know" for some reason that made everything worse and I just started sobbing for no reason and I hated feeling so out of control of my emotions
"Oh baby come here, its ok, it's probably the hormones mixed with everything else that going on" he says as he holds out his hands for me to be able to cuddle up next to him and again that made me sob more why was he being so nice and loving when I had just started an argument over nothing less than an hour ago it wasn't fair, I don't deserve this,
"Tim"
"Yeah baby" he says stroking my hair, I love when he does that
"Why are you being so nice I basically told you that your baby wasn't yours less than an hour ago and I was way out of line I'm sorry"
"Baby its ok look I understand that this has been a stressful thing for everyone but especially you puls your hormones are going crazy right now so it's understable that you had that reaction which is why I stopped the argument before it turned into something more, ok and why I'm comforting you now is because you can't control your emotions and emotional reaction as well as usual, so answer one question for me"
"Ok what"
"if you could and if you weren't pregnant then would you have said all the things you did earlier?"
"No probably not"
"Ok then we're good"
"Really your not mad at me"
"No baby I'm not mad at you"

"You know what I can finish the game later let's go to bed"
"That sounds good" I say already half asleep I guess I was more tired than I realized that usually what happens, I don't realize I'm tired till I'm next to Tim, hes where I feel safest, next to him, we go to be and get some sleep but around midnight Tim's phone rang and it woke us both up he didn't say much mostly just listened to the other person then turned to me and when he hung up he looked at me with fear in his eyes
"They found another body"
"What, who, where"
"His mother and they went to question her at her hotel but when they got there they found her dead body she had her throat cut open and there was another note shoved down it but it seems that was done after she died they still don't 100% know the cause of death but they think it was suffocation"
"Did the say what the note said"
"No just that we need to get down to the station right now and that we should grab Tamra on the way"
"Oh my god do you think he threatened her"
"Maybe but we need to go"
"Yeah" we get up out of bed and go to the station we pick up Tamra on our way, once we are there we see Nyla, James and their kids and Aengla and Wesley and their kids we also see Luna, Bailey, celina, and Aron but we don't see John or Grey there
"Hey" I say as the three of us walk into the roll call room
"Hey, here your going to want to sit for this" Luna says
"Ok, um whats going on why are we here" I ask
"Better question why are you guys here and where is Grey" Tim asks
"And John" tamra adds
"Well there still at the scene helping the cops look for clues but we know there not going to find anything" Angela says
"And we are all her because of what the note says" Nyla adds
"Um ok I'm a little afraid to ask what the note says" I say
"You should be its very disturbing" Bailey says
"I agree" Luna adds but she grabs the paper in a plastic evidence envelope and looked at me Tim and Tamra before she started reading and we all nodded so she began to read it
"Hello my old friends I have just a few questions for you, Angela how is that husband of ours I hear he is working for the DA now shame cause I thought that he was a pretty good defense attorney oh and how is baby Jack I see hes getting big now and the new baby girl how is she getting along, Nyla you always were my favorite personally so strong and so powerful or so you thought baby leah is also getting so big and you have really done just a beautiful job raising Lila she is so independent truly it is beautiful, James you were and always will be the least impressive I mean at least Wesley survived getting stabbed by Oscur and he did rescue Angela when she was taken on their wedding date to be exact wow hey at least I'm not that mean and evil but you James you are as boring as they come but your boys they are going to be the next generation of heart breakers god are they handsome and Bailey wow isn't John just such a lucky guy to have married you but I see that you have also had the pleasure of feeling what lucy felt not to the extreme she did but I heard it was a real show I would have loved to watch, Luna you are very sweet Wade really picked a good one out now your still boring but at least not as boring as James, Tamra aren't you beautiful now that I have finally seen you in person I can confirm that you are very pretty not as pretty as lucy but still beautiful, now to get to the real fun Tim bradford and Lucy chen wow you two are such a cute couple and really I mean cute I also like to think that Tim can get a bit over protective when it comes to you Lucy but even that can't protect you forever, now I have a plan in the works and this will be the only contact you get from me for a while and this is the only hint your getting Lucy I will be coming after one of your kids rather its the baby or Tamra well thats a surprise so good bye for now oh and congrats on the engagement I hope you have a better wedding than Angela did and I truly hope Celina and Aron finally get their heads out of their ass's and get togther"
I don't even know what to say if there is anything to say to that and they were right it is disturbing how does he know so much and why has he waited this long to come after us and why are they coming after everyone not just me and Tim, I get brought out of my thoughts when John and Grey come in my and Grey make eye contact as he comes in
"Hey how you doing lucy" Grey asks
"Um well considering that he threatened my whole family in one letter including my unborn baby"
"Yeah so we are putting everyone on around the clock watch and the department has put together a safe house for us until we catch this guy and everyone will be taking mandatory leave until further notice as well" Grey says
"Do you really think that necessary Grey we can take care of ourselves" Angela says
"Yes I do the fact that this man has been in your house and knows all these things about us proves that we need to take this very serious" Grey says well giving Angela his dad look
"So what we hide out in the safe house till this guy gets caught I mean what does that say about us Angela has a small point" Tim says
"Yeah Tim's got a point look just because this psycho has information about us doesn't mean anything that is all in our files he could literally being ridding off of a file and not actually truly know anything" Nyla says
"Nyla I don't think that now is the time to argue he named all of us and I'm sorry but are you willing to risk both of our kids life just to prove a point" James says
"As someone who was actually treated by this guy I think going to a safe house wouldn't be that bad and also as someone without police training, at least Wesley and Luna have been married so long that they have picked up a few things and James has had a few run ins with be attacked so yeah this doesn't really seem like the worst thing" Tamra says
"Lucy I'm sure you have an opinion I would love to hear it" Grey says and I pause for a minute and everyone is quite waiting for me to speak
"I think that all of you have a point yes it looks bad if we go hide in a safe house but we also have to think about the people here who don't chose to run into danger everyday for their job and it's not fair to them to put them in direct danger just because it makes us look like bad cops" I say it true just because Tim, Nlya, Angela, Grey, John and me chose to run towards the bullets everyday doesn't mean that we can put Bailey, Luna, Tamra, James, Wesley and the kids in danger and there are more reason to take cover in the safe house and take a little break from work and the only real thing it will do is make him pissed off and maybe that will lead him to make a mistake, but we can only hope
"Ok then we'll go" Angela says
"Yeah ok" Nyla says
"Great here's the address of the safe house" Gery says as he hands out a paper with the address on it and we all pack very quick me and Tim stay with Tamra the whole time and then the three of us head to the safe house
