Chapter 20-family

Time skip celina is now done with her training and is now just riding with lucy
Lucy's pov
It was now lunch and I have felt off all day I've been tired and a little nauseous but I think I'm just coming down with something we get food at the food trucks as usual and when I go to order I can hear the rookies talking and I listen
"Dude get this Bradford was suspended almost two years ago for a fellow cops murder and he used to be in metro but got kicked out" Williams says
"No way this is great"
"Why is it great again"
"Because hes a dick who acts like hes so much better than everyone so now I get to use this against him how did you find this out exactly"
"Oh some guy named Smitty he likes to talk I was stuck with him for a shift" of course I was about to leave when Write turned to me
"Hey cop chick"
"Don't call me that"
"I'll call you whatever the hell I want, you got anything on Bradford"
"Nope" I try and walk away because Tim can see me and he's been watching and I know he heard this guy call me cop chick and he doesn't look happy but then he talks again   
"Look please anything you obviously know him so what you got some code or something"
"Even if I didn't I wouldn't tell you" at this rate I'm getting anyonned
"Wait it just hit me Chen your that cop got buried alive when you were a rookie yeah but some psycho right" Williams asks
"Yeah now if you would let me go eat my lunch in peace"
"No way are you sure dude"
"Yeah why cause that means your Bradford's wife" I start fake clapping
"Good job you figured it out want a cookie" I roll my eyes and walk away and tell Tim what happened I go to take a bite but start to feel nauseous again so I wait for it to past and I slowly eat taking small bits and Tim notices
"You ok babe"
"Yeah I'm fine I think I'm getting sick tho I'm just so tired recently and just don't feel good"
"Oh babe why didn't you tell me"
"Cause it's nothing just the flu I think our daughter gave it to me from when she was sick last week"
"Aright if you're sure it's nothing" we finish up lunch and head to the shops but half way to ours I end up pucking in the grass celina asks me if I'm ok and I tell her I'm fine before puking again and Tim trunks around and starts running towards me and once he gets to me he rubs my back and asks if I'm sure I'm fine and I nod my head to avoid puking again and we continue on our patrol I ask celina to stop at a pharmacy before we head back to the station there's no way I'm pregnant again I can't be but what if I am so I bought a test and took it when I flipped it over it was positive great just as I was enjoying being back at work and knowing Tim I will not be leaving the station for a while which after last time I don't entirely hate the idea but still we get back to the station we clock out and I see Tim doing some paperwork and I go over to him
"Hey why are you doing paperwork"
"Because I didn't want to deal with my rookie complaining"
"Mk well um I have something to tell you"
"Yeah ok just one sec, ok go" he says and gives me his full attention
"I'm pregnant"
"What"
"Yeah look I know we haven't talked about more kids and I know timing wise isn't what I would've wanted but-" he stands up and kisses me to cut me off
"Lucy the timing is perfect and of course I want more kids but you know this means no more patrol not after what happened last time"
"I know, I know but also I would appreciate if you didn't get shot this time either"
"I make no promises" we both smile and kiss again "you know what this paperwork can wait" we go home and tell Tamra she's excited and happy for us the next day we tell Grey and he congratulates us and tells me I can be paired with Nyla again and I will be stationed bounded till I go on mat leave I agree and the day goes on halfway through Tim comes back looking pissed and covered in blood but it doesn't seem to be his he goes into Grey's office and starts yelling then his rookie comes walking in kinda limping and also covered in blood and looks worried then when Tim comes out he comes over to me and I can see a few knife wounds
"Babe what the hell happened"
'That rookie is an idiot thats what happened"
"Is this all your blood"
"No it's my CI's"
"Wait ok what happened"
"Well we went to meet my CI and he gave us a tip and when we passed it along we went to assist with the arrest and one of the guys we were arresting took out a knife and started a fight with me and my rookie I won but my rookie almost didn't because he wasn't listening to me and eventually he managed to get the suspect off him and my CI came running and the dumbass in there shot him in the head close range so close he could've hit me and he almost did so now both of us are wearing his blood isn't that nice"
"Yeah it's just super, I'm sorry babe you going to be ok tho"
"Yeah these are nothing they didn't even need stitches"
"That's not what I meant"               
"Oh yeah It's just for a while now he's been a pain in my ass I mean more than you ever were and some days you were really pushing it" he smiles as I playfully hit him and by the end of the day officer Write was no longer the months past and soon enough I began to show and and it's time to find out the gender we make an appointment and there we find out that we are having a baby boy this time which means Tim is in charge of naming this baby we go home relax and talk about when I'm going to take mat leave and we diced that I would take it at 7 months just to be safe last time I took it around 5 ½ months but this time my new OBGYN says that I could work my whole pregnancy if I wanted work is boring as usual but Nolan has gifted officer Willams to Tim and is now riding with celina again a couple months go by and its now time for me to leave and its my last shift it was a pretty quite one too but of course it couldn't stay that way near the end of the shift there was a big shoot out and he worst thing that could ever happen did Grey got shot and died on route to the hosptial when I heard this I got in my car and drove straight to the hospital when I saw Tim in the wating room I walked over to him
"Hey baby"
"I'm covered in his blood lucy"
"Baby how can help"
"You can't one of my best friends just died and I'm covered in his blood from trying to save him the last thing he said was that he was proud of me for how far I'm come Lucy how do you help with that"
"I don't know baby, come here" I hug him as he cries in my arms then a little while Luna walks in and Tim sits up goes over to her and I follow
"Luna I am so sorry" Tim said
"Thank you but there is nothing to be sorry about he wouldn't blame you or any other of his officers that where there so I won't either"
"If you need anything we are here for you" I say
"Thank you, you know he thought of you guys as his kids" she says starting to cry "And he was so proud of all of you but especially you two getting married starting a family going through everything that you guys did he saw how much you two have grown"
"Thank you for saying that Luna" Tim says she nods and one of the nurses leads her way to see her husband's body I take Tim back to the station and we both clock out and then we go home he's been quite the whole ride home and ever since we talked to luna but the second that we walk through the doors he puts a small on and picks up Isabelas she comes towards us along with tamra and she hugs me then I take Isabel and Tamra hugs Tim he suggests that after dinner we have a nice little family movie night and we agree cause we know he needs this distraction in a way I'm lucky tomorrow I don't have to go into work for a while but he does he has to face a station without Grey sooner then I do I call Angela and make sure she's keeps an eye on him once I'm nine months pregnant Tim takes his leave to be there for me and a little time away from the station could be useful at 37 weeks my water breaks and we go to the hospital we have a much better birth than before and we get to bring this little one home with in three days, we named our baby boy
Wade Jakson Bradford

Time skip 7 years
Isabel is now 8 years old Wade is 7 and we are having a little barbecue at the house and Celina and Aaron have been together 5 years now John and Bailey have three beautiful kids that they adopted Nyla and James has another boy last year Angela and Wesley haven't had anymore kids but they are happy which is all that's important Tamra has been dating this great guy for a two years now and Luna is here playing with all the kids Tim has finally come to peace with Grey's death and we are happier than ever looking at my backyard filled with people who are my family makes me feel complete seeing how happy everyone is makes this the most perfect moment, I have a big loving happy family with amazing friends a job I love and am married to a man I love and I couldn't ask for more.
