Chapter 2-the news

Lucy's pov
After shift I go back home, shower, change and leave. When I get to Tim's house I get nauseous but I don't feel the need to puke yet so I just hope I can get through telling him before I start throwing up everything in my body, aging. But when he opens the door and I smell my favorite dish I want to puke so I run straight to the bathroom and Tim follows close behind me and kneels down and holds my hair for me after two minutes of me just barfing I sit back and lean into Tim's arms and we sit there for a couple of seconds
"Are you ok Luce"
"Yeah I'm fine I've just been a little sick the last couple days nothing to bad"
"If it was anything like that then yeah it seems bad"
"I'm fine, really it's nothing that was actually a lot better than usual"
"Better god Luce are you your ok"
"Yeah I'm sure, now let's get off this bathroom floor and go eat yeah"
"Ok if your sure"
"Yep" with that he helps me up and we go into the kitchen and start to eat once we finish we go sit in his living room and that's when he asks what I wanted to talk about and I pulled out a box with the test in it and told him to open it
"Lucy is this- is this what I think it is" he starts crying a bit
"Yes Tim, I'm pregnant"
"And it's mine"
"Who's else would it be"
"I don't know I'm just kinda in shock right now"
"Well yes and I don't expect anything from you and if you don't want any part of this I get it but I thought you had a right to know"
"Lucy"
"Yeah" I had now started to lightly cry as well
"I am here for as much as you will let me be here for if you want me at appointments done I'm there you don't I won't go but I would love to, if you at any point want be to be here for you during this then I will in whatever way you need even If it is just waking up in the middle of the night to get you a pregnancy craving"
"Well I could really use a hug right now"
"Come here of course" we snuggled on the couch together for a while then his phone rang and it was Sargent Grey
"I have to get this"
"Go head" he kissed the top of my head and left to take the call when he came back he looked shocked
"What's wrong"
"It's Isabel- she's dead" 
"What"
"Yeah they found her body and it looks like an OD"
"But she was clean"
"Yeah she was but it wouldn't be the first time she has been clean then not so clean"
"I'm so sorry Tim"
"It's not your fault she couldn't keep her shit together there's nothing to be sorry about"
"I'm going to get going honestly I'm exhausted and just need to sleep"
"Ok but Lucy when the baby comes what are we going to do"
"I don't know yet Tim" with that I leave and go back to mine and get some rest
Time skip a month later
this morning I made it to the station before needing to puke and I only puked once today so far and I see Tim in the parking lot and he starts to come over my way
"Hey when are you going to tell grey that your pregnant"
"Soon I promise"
"Ok your already two months pregnant so you'll start showing soon"
"I'm aware Tim and if it makes you feel any better I promise to tell him after shift ok"
"Ok"
*in roll call*
"Ok with that being said Tim Lucy you two will be riding together since Aron took a personal day dismissed"
Great me and Tim riding together what could go wrong, honestly me and Tim have been getting along really well and I think the baby is to blame for that. We are out riding when we get a call about suspicious activity and when we get there me and Tim split up and search for the suspect and that's when I get attacked from behind and get in a fight with the suspect I managed to fight him off for a while then he got a good hit on me and I lost my balance and he got a lot more hits on me till I was on the ground bleeding, I was now able to reach my gun he had hit out of my hand tho and shot him in the head and tried to get up but that's when the pain got so much worse and all I could do was sit still and hope Tim would hurry his ass up and get over here, it took him about two minutes to find me and when he did he called for an ambulance then checked for a puls on the suspect but he was dead then come over to me
"Hey are you ok"
"Do I look ok Tim"
"No you don't ok what hurts"
"Everything but especially my stomach" he looked down at the floor around me and saw all the blood
"Lucy you don't think"
"I don't know Tim all I know is I'm scared and in pain and I don't need to play the 20 questions game right now"
"Ok, ok I'm sorry ok I'm here the ambulance should be here any minute and I'm here what do you need from me"
"I need you just to hold me please but carefully cause I think he dislocated my right shoulder"
"Ok" he put my head in his lap and kissed my forehead and started to play with my lose baby hairs till the ambulance got there then we got to the hospital and they made him wait in the waiting room
Tim's pov
This was the hardest thing I've ever had to wait for Angela came and sat by me she tried to comfort me "She going to be fine Tim"
"We never should have split up if I was with her-"
"If you were with her then you could be the one in the hospital bed"
"Better me than her"
"Tim-"
"Angela I appreciate you trying to help but your not so please shut up you know why I'm so worked up about this she told me you and Nyla know"
"If it makes you feel any better Jackson was almost born in worse conditions"
"Ok but Jackson was more than two months"
"Yes you have a point there but that's not the point I was trying to make, I was trying to make a point about how not only will Lucy be fine but so will the baby"
"I appreciate that but until I know that they actually are going to be fine I'm not going to stop worrying" then we just sat in silence at one point Wesley called to ask if there was any news, there wasn't we have been waiting for five hours now to hear anything about Lucy or the baby all we know is that she had to go into surgery for her shoulder and that was the last thing we heard then the doctor came out
"Family of Lucy Chen" me and Angela stand up
"Is she ok is the baby" I ask
"Yes Mis Chen is just fine and as the baby well that where the bad news comes in"
