CHAPTER 3

*GLOBAL CYBER

The staffs poured out as it clocked the end of the day's work.
The inventive team walked together as they headed for the garage.

"Am I the only one craving creamy coffee?" Kendall said with pouted lip.

"Only an alien wishes for a coffee just at closing hour. Gosh!" Freddy said and Sloane laughed

"You're seriously not laughing at me because of this bully, right?" Kendall asked and Sloane palmed her mouth.

"Sorry. I was just..." Sloane said with a shrug, suppressing her laughter.

"Let's do revenge!" Ann said and they turned to her.

"What's 'do revenge' ?" Kendall asked and Ann rose a brow at her.

" Hey, you aren't correcting my vocabulary right now, are you? I'm trying to support you here " Ann said and Kendall folded her mouth in a 'O'

"Okay?" Alice asked expecting her explanation on how to 'do revenge'

"Any one up for a creamy coffee?" Ann asked raising her hands and they all rose their hands except Freddy.

"Goodness! I badly need a co-male, you females are bunch of troubles" he said with a frown.

"Don't be a vibe killer. We are a team! Let's go to the coffee!" Kendall said and linked arms pulling him.

"A team in drinking coffee. Funny" he said making faces and the ladies laughed.

They got to the coffee brewery room and Alice offered to go make for all.

She got in and met a coworker in, making coffee. ' Okay, I guess we aren't the only ones interested in closing hour coffee ' she thought and chuckled lightly.

The man turned immediately he felt a presence. "Oh! Miss Alice! " he called lively like he always does and without wasting a minute, he began roaming his flirty eyes on her. He is one of Alice's pests. Yeah, she calls them pest.

"Hi, Gabriel" she called back with a faked smile as she began making the coffees. ' At least if I can't escape his flirting, I could get out of here quick ' she thought.

He came closer immediately standing right beside her like he was going to jump into her skin.

"You look good today" he said and she turned to him.

"I always look good" she replied and smiled but it that disappeared immediately.

"Hahaha. Come on, I was only giving my remarks" he said.

"You see, it's not so much of a bad idea to go out with me. We could start by eating lunch together. I promise to love you like no one will" he added and she gritted. She knowingly missed her step and caused a cup of hot coffee pour on him.

"Oh my!" She exclaimed
"Ouch!" He groaned at the same time.

"I'm so sorry. So sorry. I'll clean it up" she said quickly and got a napkin wiping off the hot liquid on him.

"It's okay. It doesn't hurt much. At least I got your full attention and you're cleaning me up right now." He grinned annoyingly as he got hold of her hand and their eyes met.

' I should burn your filthy mouth next ' she thought as she straightened. "You should.. You know, get.. something else to wear" she said slowly suppressing her anger and annoyance by acting sorry.

"Oh sure! I should. I wish to always have this time with you" he said and got out after.

"Gosh!" Alice breathed out and got out with the coffees to meet those waiting outside.
