CHAPTER 4

NEXT MORNING
*ALICE'S ROOM

"Mom, why am I scared of smokes?" Young Alice asked.

"Hm... You see, that's because smokes are toxic and any fragile and cute little kids like you could get allergic to it" Avesta replied and poked her nose with a smile.

"So, why do people smoke then?" Young Alice asked.

"I don't know, maybe because they are too strong" Avesta replied.

"Then if I get strong, I won't be scared anymore?" Alice asked.

"I don't think so. Once you are allergic then you're allergic" Avesta replied.

"Oh.. So are you allergic? Are strong? and do you smoke too?" Young Alice asked.

"Oh Alice..you're a bunch of questions. That's okay now.. Go play" Avesta said and Alice giggled as she ran off.

Alice wriggled her eyes open after the alarm rang.
She got off the bed quickly and entered the bathroom to have her bath.

Dreams like that aren't new to her. She gets a lot of them and she finds it cute to remember memories through dreams.

It's like some supernatural gift to her. Funny.

She suddenly smiled warmly remembering last night. She is so sure that Morris's cold attitude are just acts and all façades. She can boast knowing him more than anyone else.

Morris is one cool and caring guy and she's so sure that even with the cold shoulders he's putting up, he'd put her first if any problem shows up.

The only thing that worries her is the reason why he'd choose to put up the cold acts.

She really wish it could all end. She wish to have him back like his real self and she hopes that happens sooner.

She began dressing up after her long bath. It took her twenty minutes to get dressed.

She was brushing her hair when a knock came on the door. She went to open, revealing one of the maids, Sara.

"Good morning young miss" she bowed.

"Hey, Sara" she replied and Sara rose her head.

"Madam got out early today. She apologizes that she couldn't wait to have breakfast with you" Sara said and Alice nodded.

"I understand" she replied.

"Breakfast is ready by way and it's your favorite dish" Sara said with a knowing smile and Alice smiled back.

"I'll be there in no time" Alice said and Sara left after, she closed the door.

She got her hair packed in the usual ponytail style and got her shoes on before heading out.

She got to the dinning room and breakfast was laid before her. Cheese flavoured burger, egg benedict and meat balls!

One thing she loves the most is meat and when it's make in balls like meat balls, she loves it more and she could eat it as breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or whatever and also cheese flavours.

She dug in immediately and began eating slowly. "Is Morris in?" She asked.

"No, he got out not quite long" Sara replied and Alice nodded. She ate all up and began heading out with Sara holding her bag.

Almost at the main door, the door opened and a sassy looking lady entered.

Her hair is dyed purple and she's wearing same colour of armless big shirt. Black crazy jean and black boots.
