THE REST OF THE DAY WAS FINE,
Nathan stopped bugging Lorelei about the party after he took her to her next class, and then didn't talk about it once during Lunch or English AP. Thankfully, Lorelei didn't have rehearsals for the end of year production for the drama club today because she needed to go and find Nathan again so she could go to see Chloe. 'Grease' was Mr. Keaton's choice this year, even though most of the students weren't too into musical theatre. Lorelei was also kind of bummed that 'Grease' was the what was picked for this semester, but it didn't matter since Mr. Keaton gave her the main role of Sandy anyways.
Musical theatre also wasn't really Lorelei's thing. Not because she couldn't sing - she could sing perfectly fine - she just found them embarrassing and cliche. Also working in the drama club gave her opportunities to design the wardrobe for the actors, including herself. Either way, both look good on a resume.
As she exited her final lesson of World History with one her best friends, Juliet, she spots her other best friend Dana waiting by the lockers.
"There you are! You guys were taking ages... We have to get ready for the party together, come on!" She grabs both of the girls hands leaning them off towards the school exit.
"Dana! I told you this morning, i'm not going." Lorelei interrupts the girls excitement making her freeze and turn to face Lorelei.
"What?! What do you mean you're not going? This party is going to be awesome! Everyone is going to be there... Including Nathan." She adds with a smirk as Lorelei rolls her eyes and smiles.
"Did he put you up to this?!? I already told him i'm not going!" She giggles at her teasing. "Speaking of, said boyfriend is waiting for me..." Dana couldn't help but chuckle when she brings up her boyfriend.
"Oh yeah, mister 'I am so rich and popular.'" Juliet comments in a mocking tone while shifting her balance to one foot. Dana then begins to turn a bit more serious.
"He may have suggested the invite... But still, you can't pass on this party! Can't you skip whatever you're gonna do and instead party with your best friends?"
"No. I already told Chloe I'd go and see her... Sorry." Dana pouts at Lorelei's words as she lets go of her hand softly.
"Damn it Lottie... Can't you skip? I wanted you to be there... So we can gossip together, complain about boys, do stupid stuff..." She said, whining a little.
