THE LONDON SUN WAS BARING DOWN ON THE CITY FOR WHAT FELT LIKE THE FIRST IN A MILLENNIUM. The tall glass buildings gleamed, reflecting the light across the gaps between the other. The streets were covered from head to toe with locals and tourists, all sightseeing on their way to a destination.

Each person rushing from sidewalk to sidewalk had a destination, a purpose, and a reason for being in such a rush.

Lando found himself as one of those many people. He hadn't exactly planned his adventure but he knew exactly what he was going to say, that had to count for at least something, right?

He gripped his phone tightly, holding it to his ear as he spoke. His voice was racked with nerves, shaking as he tried to explain his reasoning for his abrupt plan to Max.

"Mate, I don't know. I woke up this morning after the dinner with Julie last night, and decided that I needed to end everything with Kaia right now." He spoke fast, Max struggling to keep up. "I mean, better late than never I guess?"

"Lando, mate, I've been trying to tell you that since you first talked to Juliet." He sounded exasperated, and quite frankly, Lando couldn't blame him. He had made some poor choices in the past few months that would've turned anyone grey early.

"I think I'm gonna take Julie with me to Abu Dhabi."

"Well, I mean, that is certainly a feat."

Lando could hear the hesitation and uneasiness in Max's voice. He wanted to say he didn't understand the reason but he did, he well and truly understood why Max would have been skeptical of the idea

Max let a breath of air escape his lips, "Look, it's like all the cameras, the people. And isn't Netflix following you around Abu Dhabi weekend?"

Lando had forgotten about that.

"I've just reached a point Max where my life is already so public, why not, obviously with the approval of Juliet, make this public too." Lando ranted. Obviously he had his reservations about the idea, with the main one being whether Juliet was comfortable with it or not.
