Valentina's POV:

When Kai gets up to follow an angry looking Wednesday I turn to look at Enid, "the fuck did you say" I say suspicious of what she could've done to make Wednesday that angry.

I've seen Wednesday look annoyed, disgusted even but not angry like that. "Just that Malikai definitely has a fat crush on you so he probably isn't going to want to escape along with his sister" she shrugs off as if it's nothing serious.

I stare at her for a moment longer before returning to my food while shaking my head. I can't believe this girl right now, and she wonders why people get upset with what she says.

"You basically just told her that her brother, her older brother who's probably been there for her through everything she's been through is going to leave her for some girl he just met... no shit she's mad" I tell Enid off making her stiffen up in her seat.

"I didn't think of it that way, I just thought you guys would look cute" she says with a pout before standing up and rushing out of the cafeteria. "This girl" I mumble before finishing my food and returning to my room.

Moments after I got to my room , I hear a knock on my door, I open it to see none other than Wednesday and Kai standing there.

"Hey what's up?" I ask while opening the door more so that they could come in.
"Do you like it here? Like do you get annoyed with all of the stares you get?" Wednesday blurts out making me freeze.

"I like that they're scared of me, it means they don't bother me about joining clubs and getting drunk together, they're all stuck up assholes anyways" I shrug responding honestly.

I see Kai smirk at my response before turning to Wednesday with a raised eyebrow making Wednesday huff. "I guess you're not horrible then" she grumbles reluctantly.
I tilt my head and glance in between the siblings before taking whatever kind of compliment that was. "Thanks I guess?" I say in a questioning tone making her nod before leaving the room.

Kai stays and takes a seat at the end of my bed making me give him a questioning glance, "I'm bored, let me hang out with you" he says with his version of puppy dog eyes. I smirk at him making his face go back to the usual blunt expression that he shows.

"You can hang out in here, I was just going to read and listen to music... unless you want to watch a movie or something" I say while pointing to my tv.
"Oh shit, you get a tv? That's bullshit" he says while scooting up my bed more and turning his body to face it.

"I brought it from my old house" I say with a shrug "Weems just doesn't care enough to argue about it" I continue saying making him nod his head as I hand him the remote.

The rest of our free time of the day we spent in each others presence and watching Halloween movies.
