Author's Note - I'm breaking chapters up so they aren't super long & I can produce more chapters

As the door swings open, a gentle chime fills the air. As your gaze sweeps across the sparsely populated room, it finally settles on them.
Perched in a secluded booth tucked away in the distant corner, their gaze fixed on the entrance, their eyes lock onto you with remarkable swiftness.
As you make your way towards the table, your gaze sweeps over each person, taking in their appearance. With a measured tone, you ask, "Why did you make me drive out here? You should have just come to my apartment," as you settle into the booth across from them.
"So that you can make me give you head again and throw empty threats at me?" Reiner responds, his head tilting as he looks at you.
A deep sigh escapes him as he leans wearily against the booth.
"I proved to you it wasn't an empty threat," you assert, your gaze drawn to the pair of beverages resting on the table. "And that's not the only secret I know."
His gaze intensifies, fixating on you with piercing scrutiny, as if attempting to unravel the truth hidden behind your facade.
"How did you even find out?" Curiously, he asks while pushing one of the beverages in your direction.
"Why would I tell you that?" You look downward, your eyes focusing on the drink before you.
With a hint of curiosity, you carefully examine it, pondering its mysterious contents. "You know, you should be real careful of who you fuck because it might come back and bite you in the ass."
He inhales sharply, as if he's desperately trying to hold his breath, before cautiously asking, "You haven't told anyone, right?"
You gently tilt your head in disapproval as you wrap your fingers around the cup placed before you. "I'm not one to reveal secrets unless I'm given a reason to; that way, they can be held over your head."
"Just because you have a few secrets of mine doesn't erase my knowledge of yours," he remarks, serving as a gentle reminder.
You lift the cup to your mouth, captivated by the intensity in his hazel eyes that seem to deepen with every encounter. "But if my memory serves me right, then you're involved in a few of those secrets. So, like I said, I'll drag you right down with me."
"You keep mine and our secrets to yourself and my mouth is shut," A playful grin spreads across your face as you remark, "Because I don't think orange is quite your colour."
With a piercing gaze, he locks his eyes on you, leaning in ever so slightly. "It might be yours, though."
"But unfortunately for you, we won't be finding that out," you remark, swiftly dismissing his endeavour to intimidate you.
A soft hum escapes his lips as he raises his drink to take a sip. Curiosity lingers in his voice as he asks, "So, what was the small problem?"
"Jean cut me off," You admit, causing Reiner to find amusement in your confession.
He chuckles softly while observing your reaction, "He claimed that our differences were too much and accused me of being a bully."
"So? Fix it," he says with an air of apathy.
You fix your attention on his eyes, locking them in a silent exchange.
After a brief pause, you ask, "Why do you think I'm here?"
