"My name is Samuel." he said. He seemed pretty shy, guess he doesn't have any friends "Why is you dad yelling at my mom" he asked "Not sure, but he's usually like this to his workers, my brother, barely my sister, but especially me." I said, Samuel looked shocked "Dose he beat you?" he asked, worried. I felt tears form as I start to cry Samuel scooted closer and hugged me. "I'm sorry you have to live like this. Hey uh I don't know how to say this but since he's a dick to you would you like to live here with us?"he said, sympathetically.
"Can Molly stay too she also hates dad?" I asked hoping he'd say yes he nodded I saw Molly come over and sit next to me "Did I just hear someone talk about me?" she asked "yeah do you want to stay with us? I know how much you hate your dad." sam said, she nodded immediately so sam gets up and goes over to his mom while his dad and my dad continue to argue. They talk for a sec and I see her nodding as she comes over to us "I heard everything that man did to you poor things so yes you two can and stay here." his mom said, sympathetically. I smiled then said "Thanks Mrs...?" "Husker I see you've already meet my sweet little Moses" she said and ruffed his hair. "Mom!!" sam said, moving her hand away gently "Sorry I just love you so much, I'll leave you 3 to your fun." she said, smiling as she walks away.
I turn to sam as he sits back next to me "Moses?" I asked, smiling "Middle name. I constantly tell her to call me sam, but she always insists on calling me Moses even in public." he said. I giggle "I like it but if you insist on being called sam I'll ya sam." he smiled "You can call me whatever Samuel, Moses, Sam, or even Sammy I don't cause your my first real friend." he said, smiling "Hey what about me?!?!" Molly yelled, softly. Sam laughed "You're my second friend ok." she pouted a bit "Fine.". Me and sam started laughing as Molly continued to pout.
