When husk and angel got home husk carried angel to their room and put him the bed "Are you ok?" husk asked, stroking angel's cheek. Angel just shook his head "I'll get ya some medicine" husk said, going to the bathroom and grabbing some painkillers and a glass of water "Tony c'n ya sit up for me." angel sat up, groaning, taking the medicine and drink the water, then laying back "Husky..." husk hummed "C'n ya get me some pajamas?" "Done. Which ones?" "doesn't matter." husk nodded then went into their walked in closet, found long sleeve light pink pajamas with strawberries on them, and helped angel put them on "You want socks?" angel nodded, husk help him put on long white socks and laid him on the bed again then got out makeup wipes and clean the makeup on angel's face "Will you be ok while I get fat nuggets?" angel nodded. Husk went downstairs and found fat nuggets sleeping on the couch, husk started petting him that made him wake up and start jumping when he saw him "Yeah yeah I know ya love me, but angel needs you." husk picked up fat nuggets, carried him to his room, and handed him to angel "Nuggies, how my little baby doin'?" angel asked, holding fat nuggets close to his chest. Husk chuckled, took off his shirt and shoes, and got into bed with them "Thank you Sammy." husk hugged angel close "What wrong with me husky?" "You know how I get tired and moody whenever i get a new soul or two?" husk asked, stroking angel's hair "Yeah." "Well that's what happens when ya become an overlord. It's a pain in the ass. but I'll be here for ya." angel felt tears in his eyes "I love you, you stupid cat..." he whispered "I love you too, now sleep." angel quickly fell asleep.
When angel woke up a few hours later he noticed husk and fat nuggets were gone "Husk.." husk came back with a hot pink box with a red ribbon "Sorry I left, I order a gift and I came in today." husk said, handing the box to angel. Angel opened it to see a black vest with gold buttons "What's this for?" angel asked, holding the vest in front of him "I was gonna give it't ya yesterday since you're an overlord now, but since you aren't feeling good I wanted't give you it when you were better." "Thank you husky. I love it." husk got into bed with angel "C'mere." angel put the vest back in the box, put it on the floor, and snuggled into husk's arms "you feelin' better?" "A bit, I still feel like shit." husk kissed his forehead and ran his claws through angel's hair "Where's fat nuggets?" angel asked "Downstairs, he was having his zoomies so I brought downstairs." angel nuzzled his face into husk's chest fur "So soft." "Yeah, I always make sure it's extra soft just for you." "Awww, I feel so special." angel said "You are special." angel smiled.
An hour later angel fell asleep again in husk's arms, husk smiled and ran his claws through his hair, Then he heard angel start to whimper in his sleep "Angel?" husk asked, looking down at angel. Then angel started crying making husk even more worried "Anthony, what's wrong?" then his phone rang and angel woke up "Angel are you ok?" husk asked, hugging angel tightly "Yeah, just had a nightmare." "You wanna talk about it?" husk asked, running his claws through his hair "It was about val owning me a'n killing you..." angel said "I'm sorry angel, I promise that'll never happen." "Thanks husky, who callin' ya?" husk looked at his phone and saw it was vox "It's just vox sweetheart, go back't sleep ok." angel nodded and went back to sleep nuzzling husk's chest fur. Husk pick up his phone, sat up a bit while holding angel, and answered his phone "What?" husk growled, annoyed "Hello there, husker! How are you this hellish morning?" "Oh, cut the shit vox. What do ya want?" "I would like to speck with angel dust... privately." "No." "But-" "No you're not gonna take angel, so just give up vox. It's never gonna happen so all you're doin' is making an ass out of yourself." "That is not-" "I doubt that. And if I see you or any of the other vees anywhere near my casino you're dead." husk growled, his eyes glowing gold. Husk hung up before vox could say anything "Husky..." husk hummed "What did vox want?" "He wanted't talk't ya, but I didn't let him." angel nuzzled husk's chest fur 'Ya know me so well." husk chuckled and kissed angel's head "Ain't that the truth.".
Just then fat nuggets ran into the room and started pawing at the bed "Alright pork chop c'mere" husk said, picking up fat nuggets and putting him on the bed. Fat nuggets walked over to angel and laid next to him "Hi baby." angel said, scratching between his horns "Angel." husk said "Yeah?" "You want breakfast?" "Sure..." "what ya want?" "French toast." husk nodded, getting up while carrying angel and fat nuggets. when they got down stairs husk put angel and fat nuggets on the couch and then walked to the kitchen. 5 minutes later husk came back with French toast with a glass of water "Angel..." angel sat up and put fat nuggets on the floor "Thanks husky." angel said, eating the French toast "I love ya Anthony." "I love ya too Sammy." husk kissed angel's cheek and sat next to him "You ok angel?" "Yeah, feelin' a lot better, but still a bit tired." husk smiled, kissed his forehead, and started playing with his hair "Glad you're feelin' better.".
Angel fell asleep again, as husk held him in his arms he heard angel's phone ring, husk picked it up and saw it had the name Arackniss. Husk growled as he carefully got off the couch and walked onto his and angel's balcony "Hey Tony I-" "You got a lot of balls callin' Jonathan'." "Oh, um. Samuel I um-" "Don't you 'Samuel' me, you son of a bitch." husk growled, eyes glowing gold "Husk I know we've had our differences but-" "You didn't do anything when heroin hurt him!" "I know, I was a piece of shit, but I wanna make it right." husk growled as he felt his teeth turning golden "Make it right? How? We already hate you!" "Well I um-" "Listen here Jonathan, if I see you anywhere near my casino, angel, or my family, I will tear the little bits of brains in that pathetic skull of yours out of your fuckin' eyes!!!! Got it!?" "Yes sir..." arackniss said, scared. Husk growled and hung up.
Husk went back downstairs to see angel still sleeping, husk smiled, walked over to him, and kissed his forehead. Husk picked up angel's head, sat down then placed it in his lap, he put angel's phone away, then grabbed a book he was reading and started to stroke angel's hair as he read.
