Husk was sitting on a rundown apartment building wearing black jeans, a red shirt, his hat, cross earrings, and his dog tags. He heard something and turned around and saw absinthe wearing black leggings, a long sleeve purple shirt, studded spider earrings, and her hat "So why did ya wanna see me when very specific clothes and no shoes?" she asked "Remember How we have wings?" he asked. She nodded "Well it's nice today fly now." she smiled so he stood up and spread his wings and slowly starts flying in the air he looks down and see absinthe still standing there looking at him "What's wrong baby?" he asked, flying closer to her and saw her crying a bit. He frowned and put his paws on her cheeks "Daddy I'm scared." absinthe hugged him tightly husk was a bit startled but hugged her back "Don't cry baby it's ok. We don't have't do this if you don't want to." "But I want to I just..." she said sitting down. Husk sat next to her asking "Does it have something't do when you were alive?" she nodded "What is it?" husk asked "Well when you died I lost the will to live and tried to kill myself by dangling, stabbing, drowning, poison, falling down the stairs, and falling off a building. But none of 'em worked." "Why's that?" husk asked "Zia always stopped me, until she told this isn't what you would've wanted for so eventually I stopped." husk hugged her side and kissed her ear "I'm so sorry baby. Do you still wanna do this?" she wiped away her tears then said "I do but. C'n I hold your paw while doing it I don't wanna do it alone." husk nodded, stood up, and held out his paw which she grabbed and stood up "C'mon Bridget this'll be easy." he started flying slowly then she did too.
They flew around to city holding paws "C'n I go faster?" absinthe asked "sure just don't go too fast ok." husk said. Absinthe nodded and flew a bit faster so husk sped up so he could keep holding her paw husk smiled seeing his daughter smiling just happy she was having fun. After 10 minutes absinthe turned to husk "Uh daddy c'n ya let go of my paw." husk nodded and let go and when he did she started flying faster so husk just stopped mid air to watch her smiling as she flew around.
An hour later they were back home on the couch absinthe was hugging husks side while husk played with her hair "So did ya have fun?" he asked "Yeah I wanna do it again." she said, hugging him tighter "yeah well get use to it. We'll have't do it every once in a while't stretch 'em out but it'll be fun." husk said, kissing her ear "Alright. Also now more thing." husk hummed "Head scratches." she said making husk chuckle and started scratching her ears making her purr "I love you daddy." hearing that husk smiled and kissed her forehead and continued to scratch her "Love you too baby."
