The afternoon had passed, the cold of the night forcing the group of friends back inside the house. Even though the weather was rather nice during the day, winter wasn't completely over yet. Jimin was back to normal, back to his usual lively self, and was just telling one of his anecdotes about the dancers in his class, adding enough comedy to make everyone laugh.

All seated in front of the fire that Namjoon had lit a few minutes earlier, Jungkook had snuggled up to Taehyung, his face half buried in his shoulder. The man was stroking his hair tenderly, a small smile on his lips as he listened to Jimin's story. Honestly, it was getting late and Jungkook was finding it hard to keep his eyes open. He already wasn't the type to stay up late, but it had to be said that the night he'd spent with Taehyung hadn't really given him much chance to rest...

He finally closed his eyes, letting himself fall completely onto Taehyung. He could hear his friends laughing, which made him smile. Between Bangtan and the gentle warmth radiated by Taehyung, he felt good. He was finally at home. And his feeling of well-being intensified when he felt Taehyung's hand slide to his waist, to pull the teenager against him. And the man soon used his other hand to caress his cheek.

"Sweetheart..." he whispered, his attention having long since left Jimin. "Don't fall asleep darling, we're going to go now, okay?"

All the man got was a little grunt from the teenager. He didn't really know what he wanted to say, but Taehyung couldn't help smiling anyway.

"Come on my love, get up..."

It was no use, Jungkook was already falling asleep. Jin, having observed their exchange, left Namjoon's arms to approach the two men.

"Has he fallen asleep?" he asked Taehyung, whose eyes were fixed on the boy, filled with tenderness.

"Hm. I wanted him to go home to his parents tonight," admitted the man, "but I think I'll take him home instead. Well, he'll be back tomorrow morning."

Jin watched his little brother for a moment, moved by the scene unfolding before his eyes: the boy was literally clinging to Taehyung, who had locked him in a protective embrace. At that moment, Jungkook looked like an innocent child.

"You can sleep here." Jin suggested. "It might be difficult for you to put him in the car."

"Are you sure? I don't want to disturb..."

This question earned him a tap on the shoulder.

"Don't be silly!" exclaimed Jin. "Of course I don't mind! You can be so stupid sometimes..."

Taehyung was about to retort, but a sleepy grunt from Jungkook diverted his attention.

"Well, then, show me the room." he finally replied. "He's completely out of the world."

Jin gave a small smile as he nodded, and as their friends looked at them with tenderness, Taehyung picked Jungkook up, carrying him like a princess, and followed Jin upstairs. Jungkook gave in completely, making no objections whatsoever, even when Taehyung laid him on the bed Jin had designated for him.

"Are you going back downstairs?" Jin asked from the doorway.

Taehyung shook his head.

"No, I'll go to bed with him."

"Okay. Good night, Tae."

"Hm, good night."

The bedroom door closed, and Taehyung immediately turned to his little baby, who was fast asleep on the bed. Jin had helped him undress him a little, so he had instinctively curled up under the blanket. Taehyung hurried to undress too, and then joined him on the bed, pulling the teenager against him, burying his face in his ebony hair, and inhaling his sweet scent.
