2 long weeks later, I had a date, with an old friend from high school, I had a huge crush on him back then so I was pretty excited to say the least.

We were going to a trendy new restaurant for lunch so I decided to wear something casual but also very cute, and lucky for me I had the perfect outfit for this occasion

I arrived at the restaurant, paid my Uber and went inside to find my date already at the table, he stands up to hug me and pulls my chair out for me to which I blushed at

I ordered pasta and he ordered the same, bro has good taste

During the date, I spot Marc out of the corner of my eye walking towards me, he looked as if he had just ran a marathon, he came up to my table and caught his breath

"Ella..can I talk to you for a second?" He said breathing heavily and clenching his jaw, looking at my date

"Marc can this wait, I'm in the middle of something?" I say looking at him

"No it can't" he said clenching his jaw even more

"Fine but be quick" I say standing up and apologising to my date

We walk outside of the restaurant and i fold my arms,

"I wanna start by saying I'm sorry for bringing that girl to your party, I was just nervous and got scared after we kissed, I know that's not really an excuse but I'm not even dating her if hector has said anything about me and her dating, it's not true" he says looking down

I don't say anything and just fold my arms, rolling my eyes

"And...you could do so much better than him" he says pointing towards my date

"You could do so much better than that blonde girl" I say scrunching my nose up

"Fair enough" he says nodding his head to the side

"I'm sorry" he says looking into my eyes

I smile and hug him

"I should probably get back" i say nodding awkwardly and walk back inside

He smiles to himself as he walks back to his car and drives away

After the date I get an Uber home, I get into my house and go straight upstairs, my parents were at a wedding so I had the whole night to myself, I ran myself a hot bath, lit some candles and put a face mask on, I was so tired but also very happy that me and Marc had made up.

After my bath I go downstairs and make myself pasta, i sit on the couch and turn on Modern Family, i loose interest after a few episodes and start texting Tessa, I tell her all about how Marc showed up during my date and apologised for everything.

before i went to bed, we planned a day at the beach since we hadn't hung out altogether for a week, i was relieved and with that i went to bed. another day another slay
